  • just slamming the notes, can hear him play but not feel him play

  • man a lil kid would be able to play a bach piece like that its one of his more mathematical pieces, still i wish i could play that song and i can't really say anything about the playing, after all it is a little guy and he's very good for his age.

  • very NICE BACH playing....

  • You play very well congratulations

  • I may have some music that would seriously interest you. Is there is a safe way to make contact?

  • The Bach 2 and 3 part inventions are a set that deserve close study by pianists of your age. They may not be technically difficult to play but demand much more to play properly. However.... please see comments on other performances

  • Thanks for the comments. I agree that he did not quite bring out everything there is of the music.

  • nice..

  • Awesome Alex 5 star

  • The fool is just happy to be seen with a beautiful girl, he slides, he twirls, he does all his tricks. He is the top voice.

The girl just hesitantly trudges along, she looks over the dance floor and saw her love with another girl, she is sad, she imagined what could be. She is the bottom voice.

The jock, though happy to be with an easy girl, still thinks of the good times with the good girl. The intermittent middle voice is the tint of guilty feelings of the jock.

    The end.

  • Glenn Gould played it in about 60 seconds, which is brilliant in his own way, but sadly it seems to be the only targeted way to play by many.

Now try to interpret the piece along this line of imagery:

A bumbling boy just landed a date with a beautiful girl for the prom, he did not know that the reason the girl went with him was that she was dumped by a jock who went with a pretty but less reputable one.

    To be continued ...

  • Beautifully played, I preferred the slower but more dynamic interpretation to the fast but monotonic playing.

  • But he actually plays this slower than most other pianists. It does seem a little monotonic though, but this will get better through time. Overall, a very good job for someone this age!
