@minecraftModNmore I use gtk-recordMyDesktop for all my videos. Lately (after gnome 3 came out) I have been unchecking the "Outline Capture Area On Screen" box in the Advanced -> Misc section.
@RetroShinigami I agree. It is nice to know more about what my operating system is doing behind the scenes. Although, sometimes it can seem more complex. Still trying to figure out how to understand some of these different log files.
@LukeoXx There should not be any colons. It should be "sudo aptitude" not "sudo: aptitude:" Just copy and paste the command from the description and it should work.
@LukeoXx I am pretty sure that aptitude is installed in Ubuntu 10.04 by default. What distro are you using? What happens if you just type "aptitude" in the terminal.
well, I need your help. I followed the steps in this video and now, ubuntu is not starting. Everytime I start my computer, it asks me for the OS option, i select ubuntu and after sometime it again opens the same screen asking for the OS choice.. ubuntu is not starting!!!...its really irritating..can u please help me out, there is a lot of data in my computer, i dont want it to get lost
