Everyone has his/her own family. Sacrificing one's own life or now is his/ her own private right. It is not a critical things. We can encourage people to act to be not selfish, but we cannot criticize him if he is not. Chinese people keep all the morals and patriotism at the months, but never act.
@hfrancis716 If you ever read chinese history, even the most recent ones in the 20th century than u wouldnt be so ignorent enough to say" but never act". In addition, it's not about sacrificing it's about responsibility. Why do we need teachers if they are not going to be responsiple for the students? In other words, are you saying that you would run away EVEN if your mother was in that classroom?
I'm selfish, either. However, I know gratitude and shame. At least, I would not think I'm a hero if I was desperate to escape before others, whether I'm a teacher or not.

If Fan was burried and someone was hurt or die when tried to save him. Would that be worthwhile?

范偷换概念，他反复强调凭什么老师就得为学生死，事实上没有人要他死，只需要他出于道德本能喊一声，大家一起跑！而他连这个都没有做到。事实上是他的学生很多活下来了，向媒体披露了，范怕事情闹大，所以自己在博客上如是写出来，然后披上所谓理性的外衣，给自己规避责任！

孟子也不過以捨身取義為例，說明人有比生命更重要的東西，但不過說人必要捨身取義
。
那教師的行為沒錯，當然有可以做得更好的地方。
或姐，我們只應批評他，合理化這種行為。

teacher dont sign contract says i HAVE TO SAVE STUDENTS first. most of us will run for our self. doesnt matter teacher or not. we are people!

9成普通人 ！= 范跑跑。可能他刚好就是剩下来的1成，也可能他不普通。本来能进北大的也不会是普通人。
因为他天生不会'叫'就说他自私自利，是小人，不如小孩。这是典型的逻辑混乱。因为他自私你就觉得自己可以骂他猪狗不如，这是典型的伪道德。
看看你们这些道德使者的嘴脸，真是好笑。不正视人性不尊重人权，却敢打着道德的旗帜要求别人为你想象中的那些并未得到社会认同的职业道德去牺牲，这是典型的绑架道德。

范老师的观点很清楚：他逃跑而不喊是出于本能，老师没有必须'喊'这一声的责任，所以他的行为是可以理解的也不需要承担责任。很合理很清楚的观点。他并没有公开提倡这种做法，也没有上升到道德高度，根本谈不上不道德。郭老师偏要往道德上扯。
在中国的道德层面上本来就没有这么细的规范，正过来反过去都说得通，郭老师更多的是以偏概全，并且在不思考别人论点的前提下将自己的观点强加于人，这本身就是不道德的行为。
那个校长也够虚伪。教师本来就是一个技术性的职业，这个不是你说不是就不是。所谓的灵魂工程师不过是文学语言。教师也是人，不是圣人，何来以道德模范的高度自居，并且要求别人达到这样的高度？这是纯粹的虚伪幼稚。还有观众，大家都是学生过来的，老师们的优点看在眼里，丑态也历历在目，何来这么多人自欺欺人地把教师奉为神灵？
社会的进步需要实事求是地认识这个社会的本来面目，很重要的一点是人性，当然也包括人性的弱点。在社会规范的方面，道德不过是技术层面的东西，反而需要对人性正确的认识来制定和规范。
很遗憾这场辩论大会搞成了一场批斗大会。一群逻辑混乱根本不知道德为何物的人用道德压人，怎一个丑字了得。
