I use a wide range of brushes, from MAC, Sephora, Ben Nye.. and even a few from art supply shops. It's really a matter of personal preference. Sephora and Ben Nye brushes are cheaper than MAC but the quality is comparable.

What did you apply to your lips that matched your skintone so well? Was that a base or concealer of some kind? The effect is fantastic! I have a tough time finding bases that match my skin. I'm rather pale and untanned and almost anything I try comes out orangey or too dark.

It was a Ben Nye highlight/concealer... it's a cream based product.. so it goes on like a lip balm. Before you put on any sort of foundation or concealer on your lips, you want to apply a lip conditioner to prevent the product from looking caked or uneven.

On the waterline, if you take an angled brush and apply shadow over the liner, it really helps set it. I got the tip from alexreedthompson and use it every time now because it works so well. Love your make up. Was that club you used in there? If so, I love it too. Such a gorgeous color.

Ben Nye cream highlight. It's basically a dense concealer. I recommend you put on a lip balm before doing this as most concealers tend to be drying to the skin.

Well, in all honesty, the first "liner" I put on is actually a liner PRIMER, and goes on kinda thin. After it dries, I have to put on a little more just so it can hold on the actual black liner to keep it from smudging off. The actual liner I put on afterward also goes on kinda thin, I want it to be BLACK, not sorta black ,so it requires at least 2 coats. That's why it would appear that I am applying a lot. I'm a professional MUA. Been in the industry 6 yrs. I know my products! Thx 4 watching!

Wearing mascara with false lashes is not "skanky". The lashes I use are human hair, and natural looking... so augmenting them with mascara is perfectly acceptable.. if they were huge or synthetic I wouldn't use mascara. I've been working in the makeup industry for 7 years, and I know what I'm doing.

Glam isn't really what I was going for... but I guess you could call it that.

I use mostly Ben Nye cosmetics, some MAC products and a few cheap things. 1. Clean your skin 2. Apply a toner 3. Primer 4. Apply translucent powder under the eyes and THEN do your eye makeup, this helps prevent the dust on your cheeks from the eyeshadow, which will smear. 5. Concealer 6. Foundation 7. Powder 8. Bronzer or Blusher 9. Lips 10. Sealer Now this is just my personal routine, everyone does it differently. Thanks for the comment! ~Z
