If you guys listen to the message you can tell Rob hated having to say that to his Driver/Mate, but had he not done it his and Massa's jobs may well have been in jeopardy. However much I love Ferrari I dont agree with some of their tactics: e.g. Pit Stop system where Alonso chooses when to come in, often ruining Massa's race.

Guys, you all know as well as I do, that Rob has no choice but to say what he did, because if he didnt he would be signing his P45 at the Ferrari team. He's not happy, Filipe is not happy, but they have no choice but accept it. Itsobvious Ferrari will have told Rob to bullshit the press, and if he didnt, bang goes his job. You can tell that inside Rob and Filipe were both really bitter about it, but what can they do? Nothing...

@bochyncha Yes Massa's overall performance has been very poor, and Alonso is clearly the better driver of the two. But on the track that don't matter. If you can't overtake your are either not fast or good enough. And on that track, on that day, Alonso were not fast enough to overtake.

He didn't shut the door in Alonso's face, Alonso just couldn't get a good enough exit and lost momentum and therefore he could not overtake. Either way it was still illegal, and they should have been punished.

It was his sad way of talking, his saying "sorry", and his final radio talk that made the media "boo" Alonso in parc ferme and press conference. He had to obey the orders in a way to keep his and Felipe's job in Ferrari, but he managed to do it the way that all the world announced both of them as the only winners of Hockenheim 2010...
