I'm curious how did you configure gzdoom to get those light effects underneath the fireballs and rocket projectiles?

GZDoom includes dynamic lights and brightmaps, but doesn't enable them by default.

To enable run gzdoom with parameter "-file lights.pk3 brightmaps.pk3" or place filenames into config in [Global.Autoload] section

I'm a bit ignorant, how do you do that? I've looked in the config file for zdoom and cannot find anything

When you run GZDoom for the first time it creates a file named "zdoom-%username%.ini" on windows or "~/.zdoom/zdoom.ini" on linux.

On about 39th line in it there is section named [Global.Autoload]

Place this lines after it:

Path=brightmaps.pk3

Path=lights.pk3

Thanks. I also figured out another way by adding a shortcut and adding the brightmaps.pk3 etc to the end of the paraemter exe location

Whoever said this was the 2nd hardest outside of Go 2 It is a degenerate; that level is routinely beatable in 30 minutes and that's takin your time and killing everything. If you don't SUCK it's not a problem; is there enough ammo in this level to kill everything?

Skills? Only person who contributed any skill to that was the creator of the map, IMO... Whoever played it just went to the places he knew to be good frag whoring points, and spammed, plus rushed to the goal afterwards.

The link does work. Just make sure to delete all the square brackets and the space between the 4 and the 0.

It worked for me (without paying anything), so it should for you.
