DIC supposedly edited the episode to make it appear as though the Sailor Soldiers didn't die but instead were captured. They didn't do a very good job. I was like 11 when I first saw this episode and it was still obvious that they died and their spirits came to help Princess Serena defeat Beryl. I cried. It was moving but only because I still relaized the Sailor Soldiers died. If I had interpreted it as DIC intended, it wouldn't have been moving at all.
