Saying "most fish oil supplement products suck, here's two that don't" is NOT an endorsement of Advocare. How could he endorse Advocare? Their best selling product, Spark, contains sucralose which is an ingredient he has publicly stated he or his family DO NOT consume? Advocare is a multi level marketing company, be sucked in by the hype at your own peril OR do your research.
The point is that one of the products is Advocare and Dr. Oz said it is a great product! So why would a multi-million company make one great product and the rest horrible! Makes no since what so ever! The products work and I know people who have taken them! The proof is in the pudding!
I know Dr. would love Advo products, all of them. He has endorsed a few others as well b/c consumer labs tested them. They are the best I have found and I endorse them myself in my work as a nutritionist and personal trainer!!!
@cmh1959 He may be only discussing the Omega 3's but, if you think about it, if Advocare passes in this area where so many others don't (1 of only 2) then, the other products are high quality as well. Especially when you take into account that Advocare even pays to have their products tested by Informed Choice and doesn't pay any of the MANY famous endorsers who use the products, they speak about Advocare because of quality! He wouldn't endorse them at all if they weren't a quality company.
He is only saying that there are 2 brands of fish oil products that pass the test - Life Extension Super Omega-3 and Advocare Omegaplex Omega-3 Fatty Acid. He is not promoting all of Advocares products, as some Advocare sales people would like you to believe.
@cmh1959 I bet if they tested for all of Advocare's products like Informed-Choice does, Dr OZ would also promote these products. Advocare is in the NCAA, Olympics, NHL, NFL, MLB, NASCAR, NBA, and many more. I can tell you as a Certified Sports Nutritionist and a Ironman athlete, that these products are superior to everything else that is out there on the market.
