Cults have a Charismatic leader with strong central control. Nobody charismatic or controlling here. People do whatever they fell led to do. I wouldn't try to drag people away from what they strongly believe, for I would not let my faith become a stumbling block for others. All the same, you cannot divorce these books from Christian history, for the Gnostics were there. And if you think about it, it was the Orthodoxy that sought them out and murdered them. That was certainly NOT Christlike.

Anyhow, in the bible, his message is that people can have a direct connection and knowledge of Jah -John 17:3, James 4:8
I am not questioning your faith. I am just saying theres deeper and more profound teachings within it. Not to replace anything, just expanding ones knowedge of God, so they can know him, not only worship. Man is created in his image, but man is not born exhalted, or in that image at birth. One good example, is the polarity in the brain, when Jesus says "Make the male and female one and the same" it's very profound. And explains the halo, they are whole, undivided, as God is the unity.
So when one becomes unpolarized, the light from above comes, and are baptized on the head. and has nature shows, 2 polarities create something new, which is the Christ, the christ born within ones self, and one becomes exhalted, and has all knowdge. It takes incredible faith. To know the one, one has to become one themselves. Is that not why we are born, and can grow, grow in understanding? is that not the divine plan for humanity? people are divided within themselves. =\

If you were wondering about the visual, it was supposed to represent the contrast between the eternal realm and the temporal 'oblivion' of this realm. I like the burning globe image as this world, and the 'one thing' with eyes all over as the Pleroma, or the 'Totality,' or the 'Completion.' Thought they were powerful images and fit the story well.
It's really a shame that base characters like Irenaeus could have led to the loss of so many of these treasures. Obviously God wanted us to get some of them back. The Nag Hammadi find was extremely unlikely in and of itself, but to have so closely coincided with the Dead Sea Scrolls finds and the creation of the state of Israel, that one would almost have to see these events as more than a mere coincidence.
Well, I guess the whole idea was the pacing and the spacing. I adjusted the voice to pause for various lengths, depending on the punctuation. I wanted people to hear the texts in discernable 'chunks' so as to make it easier to absorb the ideas. As soon as I get more time, I'll start to do some in my real voice, but I'll never be able to put up as many of these as I want to with maybe 20 or 30 minutes a day to read....
