The only thing that will come out from LHC, is the prove of the existence of the higgs particle.
Wich is the particle that can prove the nature of mass (actually is the particle who gives mass). In order to answer 'Who we are?' and 'Why are we here?'.
That means, it can prove the nonexistence of 'God' or 'Gods'. That is why you religious freak are making this video.
although youtube have added DRM software to prevent downloads of this or other videos as author I give full and unrestricted rights to everyone to download, copy, distribute and use for any purpose whatsoever without need to cite or refer to the origin of the material: you are totally free to claim this as your own as you are with all my videos and text.
Man, you had me until the very end. One thing you keep bringing up is GOD, the math of God, and the prophets...then you dump all that at the end to say "Stop CERN". I think the LHC is an incredibly stupid, maniacal, and egotistical idea, but if the universe were to be destroyed, it won't be by man, but by GOD. And if by man, through man by GOD. Where is your faith? God's got it all under control man...stick to the 3 pillars and keep the faith.
watch them again rooster... I believe you have somewhat missed the whole point.... the information is being shared because of CERN... if there was no CERN no LHC then this truth would remain hidden until you awoke naturally to it... unfortunately CERN and the LHC if used will cause the equivalent of a premature birth... hence this is being shared
CERN project is underway, what do you think about it now? Hawking said black holes have been forming for naturally for a long time, that's how he knew it was safe. CERN is good stuff.
the Cern project has been on the way for over 10 years. It was due to be commissioned in Dec 2007 but delays through bad design (flawed mathematics) & bad construction (two explosions & the current coolant leak) has meant that the LHC will not be commissioned umtil spring 2009. As regards Hawkins his maths too are very much flawed & his theories rely on spontaneous evaporation of MBH.. he may be (and I aver is ) very wrong. What do I think now? I Still got time to save the Universe ;-)
Greenman023 I have to recognize that there are some people that share your view, but you have to recognize the huge collaborative effort that went into the project. I'm just saying that I trust them to be correct. I ask you, which is easier to prove that CERN is, or that CERN isn't the end of the world?
Even at 2008 some ppl still think like the ppl of the dark ages. It is so intriguing to compare all those symbols to end up to some conclussions about what will happen in cern when the first collisions start. I'll be happy to see your dissapointed face when nothing happens but also see the excited faces of scientists discovering and understanding what lies beyond. Don't you have the curiosity to learn what is this you live in? The phrases you use are so ignorant that reminds me the ones of a kid
yea, i found this funny too. its a result of ignorance of the science behind what they are doing at cern. It is funny to see peoples' ideas of just why we are going to painfully die.. lol
so you mean to tell me that this project is unsafe and potentially catastrophic? What has Fermilab been doing for the past 5 years. The same thing on a smaller level, trying to obtain the same result...nobody seemed to mind then. Why the fuss now? Competition perhaps? The team to "prove" string theory will go down in history as the greatest scientists who ever lived. Science is more competitive than all of our world sports combined. Who wouldn't want to stop them?
no flies on you mr tubbs. yes the reason why the video is called warning is because I (and many others (including two law suits bought by independent scientists) identify the real danger posed by CERN. So if the video wasn't clear enough the yes I believe that the LHC is unsafe and potentially catastrophic.
. As you rightly mention similar experiments have been conducted in two other particle collders however as you also mention these experiments are smaller and this is the crucial difference. Only the LHC a CERN can produce the acceleration sufficient to breach the void that lies at the center of the proton.... if this occurs and mass is introduced then we will soon have a quantum gravity theory... only the cost will be the destruction of the Universe......
Similarly it is a shame that you see science as a competition....the science I subscribe too is open, co-operative and only interested in the benefit to mankind.. I am not a journal junkie and regard those that use science to self promote as dangerous and likely to pervert their research and findings to promote their own self interests. Good scientists are like Gregori Perleman.. quite, unassuming and modest.
I am not really worry about dying, i am going to die sooner or later, but i dont want scientists to choice for me how i am going to die. I think this experiment is very selfish, i understand the mind of scientists, they are freek controlers who believe in one idea : their ideas. Anyway, do you think behind this project, there is a ''scientist'' who really want to have the experience of his personal black hole and take with him the whole human race ?Anyway this scientist have nothing to lose !
CERN will smash protons together, sure, but in nature particles are smashing together all the time, and with far more energy than anything CERN can create.
i'm afraid you are incorrect... whilst photons travel at these velocities protons do not. If they did and there was evidence of such then there would be no need to waste six billion dollars building a machine to recreate what could be observed for free...
Go to wikipedia and look up 'ultra-high energy cosmic rays.' Protons can and are naturally accelerated far higher than anything CERN is capable of. The problem is this is a very random occurance and can't be used for detection purposes. You can't just stick a detector in the middle of nowhere and expect to observe a perfect head on collision with another particle, especially not on a regular basis.
The argument for a danger at CERN, from what I heard is not the energies involved as cosmic ray energy is actually higher. It's the speed the byproduct is moving. If cosmic rays were to create a micro black hole, the black hole would still be moving at a reasonable fraction of the speed of light and would thus punch through the Earth and continue into space. Collisions at CERN have opposite momentum and equal mass so the byproduct would be created at relative rest and be captured by
Cosmic rays strike relatively stationary objects and results travel too fast to be captured by Earths gravity, while colliders smash particles head on, may focus all energy to a single point and can be captured by Earths gravity. Einsteins relativity theory predicts that micro black holes will not decay but instead only grow, and Hawking Radiation contradicts relativity, is unproven and is disputed by at least 3 peer reviewed studies that find no basis in science to support it.
The LHC Safety Assessment Group has been trying for months to prove safety without success. However science may still be a few years away from being able to provide reasonable assurance of safety or not at least with respect to creation of micro black holes on Earth.
Professor Dr. Otto E. Rössler (winner University of Liège Chaos Award and René Descartes Award), Dr. Raj Baldev (Director of the Indira Gandhi Center for Atomic Research) and others are warning of a very real, very possible, very present danger to the planet from the Large Hadron Collider. Dr. Rössler predicts that a single microblackhole could destroy the planet in as little and 50 months. His calculations have been released for peer review.
If this experiment is safe, why arent CERN scientists allowed to express any personal fears they might have about this Collider?
Alleged in the legal action: Chief Scientific Officer, Mr. Engelen passed an internal memorandum to workers at CERN, asking them, regardless of personal opinion, to affirm in all interviews that there were no risks involved in the experiments, changing the previous assertion of minimal risk. (Statisticians generally consider minimal risk as 1-10%).
Previous safety studies ruled out any possibility of creating microblackholes in a collider. But predictions have changed and CERN has estimated the possibility of creating 1 microblackhole per second in the Large Hadron Collider. No peer reviewed safety study has ever been produced that I am aware of that speaks to the safety of creating microblackholes on Earth.
If we delay for a safety study, some scientists at CERN may not be the first to discover some new science, and some Nobel prizes may be at stake.
But which would more wise, conduct a full and independent adversarial peer reviewed safety study first, or just turn it on now and discover science as quickly as humanly possible?

I trust this reply (in six parts) helps you to appreciate the true danger that CERN and the LHC represent
That's pretty much what I said in my second reply... the concern is not that LHC collisions will exceed cosmic rays, the concern is that the product of their collisions will be stationary. All I was arguing over was that cosmic rays do in fact travel at these velocities and higher, and they certainly do.
i felt it easier to give you a response that came from the main body of opposition to CERN and the LHC. My own personal view is not the same as that body's however the outcome, the destruction of the planet and the universe, that will occur as a onsequence of CERNs intended experiment is.
Luckily for me, I am infinite consciousness. Let these people play around if they want.
