I ran all of their events last year and only was able to keep on course towards the end of the year. Their courses are extremely technical and if you stick with them your "look ahead" function will improve by a huge margin.
The problem with this in-car video, like many done by a camera such as this (mine included), is it doesn't give a good perspective of what a view looking ahead gives you - it's too tunnel-visioned. I don't think this vid makes a convincing argument one way or the other for your NER mailing list argument.
Many superfluous cones. Confusing use of pointers. Several cones appeared to be "lonely".
Having said this, one walk through is a guarantee to be OC. Even on a relatively poor course like this, with 3 or 4 walk throughs, you probably would have been OK.
