@moonspots01 Most of this video is the west side which is ruled by the Winter Park Ski area and this tunnel has been the backdrop of this resort since it opened in the '40s. Some shots of the trains do show the ski runs and lifts in the background. The first 40 seconds are the East Portal, which the portal itself looks different than the West Portal. I'm not sure how anyone can get to the East Portal since it is very difficult to access by car.
Nice job. As railfan and photographer I still dream to obtain my best shoots of this place, both East and West Portals, on and off trains, if possible cab ride.
This is great footage. Thanks for posting. BTW have you ever had the warning devices at Winter Park alert you??? The alarm went off when I was there, but I was on public property. Winter Park is a really neat area!
