The easy way for spawning zombies or whatever is say bind (key goes here) "cheat goes here) Example Bind x "fire_energy_ball"

Go in to options, then keyboard, then hit 'Advanced'. Then check the box that says 'Enable developer's console'. Then, whilst in game, mash tilde. The little squiggle.
