  • these professional western propagandists are well trained and well paid. what are they trying to prove by showing those images? it's so ridiculous. their desperation to make north Korea look bad is laughable. western world want to see every country as their colony or under their control. that's a parasitic mentality. western interference, manufactured instability brings people to west. vast majority of them are turned into slaves. they make so little money that they never get out of it.

  • 0:38, that one person had an interesting point of view.

  • Looks like the landscape in Half-Life 2 when you are traveling from City 17 to Nova Prospekt.

  • the barren landscape and dilapidated huts remind me of Fallout 3

  • Well I've seen worse... in the movie 'The Road'.

  • reminds me of cod mw2 in the Chernobyl stage

  • Mr. Wang. and Ms. Muo have the wrong name tags. They need to be switched around.

  • Is it me or N. Korea just looks like something that came out of fallout 3

  • North Korea is an inept and powerless state without the aid of China. My guess is, probably within the next 10 years it'll be absorb by the Chinese as another quasi-ethnic state of China. Much like the western provinces and most of the North-east (Dong-Bei) formerly known as Manchuria. 23 million people is nothing in China and besides that, there are already significant Korean populations living in China.

  • @planetcave interesting thought, but they recognize NK as a sovereign territory. Places like Turkostan & Tibet have been considered traditionally Chinese by China-there's a difference. NK are very nationalistic & have nukes. I don't see NK willingly becoming Chinese because they have maintained their identity inspite of famine & great pressure by the West for decades. China doesn't want potential hostiles on their border- NK is a good buffer for China against the West.

  • north korea looks like 1960's communists days.. a lonely dangerous country will one day lash out violently

  • very bleak, looks somewhat apocalyptic :/

  • @weRnarwhals

Apocalyptic is truly the right word.

  • Ok, WTF? I was watching swifty videos, and now I am watching a fcking Korea vid?! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOUTUBE?!?!?!?!?!?

  • They are mostly farmers living a rural life. Nothing wrong with that. They resist ZOG and keep their borders closed to preserve their people and culture from foreign influence.

On the other hand, South Korea is decadent, immoral, and corrupt. South Korea along with the rest of the globalized economy will collapse hard and North Korea will be better off then.

At least North Korea is free of niggers, sand people, whites, and Jewish subversion.

  • I would just swim across the river at night and live in china secretely

  • China and North Korea are both communist but north Korean leaders are fools! they have no love or respect for the people.the only solutions i see is for south Korea to take it and make it into a full Korean nations like the old days.or maybe china can add it to its nations and turn it into a province.lack of management has cause the Nk dearly.

  • @kxr225522 dont forget that they the DPRK has guns that can easily wipe out seoul so its not an easy situation.

  • I feel sorry for the North korean people, Fuck Kim jong il and Kim il sung

  • dont u ppl know NORTH KOREA IS BEST KOREA!!!!

  • This is the "axis of evil" we've been taught to be so afraid of? A country littered with abandoned factories that can't even pave its own roads?

I'm sorry, but in this day and age, scare campaigns are a much bigger threat to freedom than Communism. When your boogeymen are wearing uniforms 2 sizes too big for their starved bodies, you have to wonder who your real enemies are.

  • @Threetails thats just a underdeveloped part of nkorea, the capital and some big cities are quite like developed countries but on a whole yeah they still kinda suck

  • wonder why north korea is still doin what they're doin

The USSR is gone, and China is open and developed

what is north korea trying to prove?

  • @W00tW00tful their just stupitly following their leader when they know they cant win the war

  • @W00tW00tful Not exactly open, but it's way more, um, 'capitalist' than it was three decades ago.

And maybe North Korea's desperately trying to prove how a communist dictatorship can survive. Of course, it's failing quite miserably and it's citizens are suffering as a result. Well, the majority anyway. :/

  • If you check North Korea on Google Earth its really scary...no bright colors for the roofs are allowed...I don't think you could find one pink roof in entire North Korea...well...maybe there is one out there xD

  • @geniemist there are bright colours, blue roofs, but only a few places can have this colour.

  • N. Korea looks like the Soviet Union, hell worse

  • @tigran914 haha, much worse dude, industry and production in USSR was extremely developed. in NK its just nothing.

  • 0:37 Mr Wang?!!?

  • @StevieChannel I think that it would be more accurate to say that violent uprisings by populations tend to end with the ruling force being another ruling force. Just because the people try to say they'll help the workers is just another lie to get support. State control of every aspect of a nation including the economy, as shown in Nkorea and the former USSR have far more in common with feudal systems than communist or capitalist. Literally every aspect of North Korea contradicts communism.

  • @StevieChannel however the north korean economy is hardly collectivist by any communist definition. its more feudal than it is anything else: the ruling class have complete control over the country and get the best of everything. nothing is equally distributed at all. communism, capitalism and feudalism: north korea shows far more feudal qualities than the other two.

  • @StevieChannel in true communism there is no government, so tell me how north korea or the soviet union were in any way "closer" to communism than the alternatives?

  • That's what they call "Communist Paradise"

  • Headphone users: R.I.P. Right ear.

  • It looks like Michigan, only cleaner.

  • this is worse then iraq in my opinion

  • The difference between close-minded and open-minded.

  • Mr. Wang (Mrs. Muo) is like a dwarf telling a midget how short he is.

  • The whole country seems to be a junkyard except for the capital.

  • "wish you were here!" anyone remember that show?

they dont. they have 999 channels of kim jon ill

  • in a couple of years china wont be communist anymore

  • Many an African wishes he/she had it this good - clean drinking water and and a better than 40% chance of getting past malnutrition. If not for white Scientists, then it's estimated that 60% of Africa would have been wiped-out from HIV.

  • @TheKrasnaludek you dipshit , non of your statements have a foot to stand on .You need hard facts to back your shit up .

  • what a great place to live

  • Wow NK is a freaking shithole. Nice job 'glorifying' your country Kim Jong Il.

  • If I had to choose between living in NK or Cuba... Cuba FTW!.

  • south korea should drop pictures of hot kpop chicks into north korea. then all the north korean men would defect.

  • @guitarhamster102 LOLOLOL so clever, they should also put a big telly up showing kpop songs, so hot girls in there

  • @guitarhamster102

These people are immune to propaganda. Fun Fact 78#, on the DMZ the South Koreans send messages over speaker phone like the following "Hi, I'm Kim Jong Il and I'm here to get my dick sucked by this tranny". Ahhh, good times.

  • The title of this YT vid should read... "Chinese laughing at North Koreans..." hahaha...

  • It's hard to say. NK 30 years ago, at the time before US block and as part of the communism uion is the second develop country in asia. Just a bit worse than japan.

  • Kim acts as a tyrant, a king of North Korea. Now he selects his successor just as an old king selects the new king among his sons. Terrible country with no election, no democracy, no freedom.

  • I dream of a day when all North Korean people escape to South Korea and see the highly-developed technology, majestic buildings, luxurious cars, modern infrastructure, freedom, democracy,... there. Communism in North Korea is not communism any more. It has become EVIL. Look at other communist countries, at least they do not look like a grand prison like North Korea.

  • @conchodaism there is no such a thing like '''freedom''

  • Ford Focus, no thanks!

  • @freandwhickquest I think you need an english lesson,

  • at 0:05 i tried to click the blue box to make it disappear.

  • I know this is so in-mature but, Mr. Wang? HA....that is just pure comedy gold!

  • @freandwhickquest yes or no is far too simplistic. In the west billions are forced to live "in a certain way" or face the consequences.

Even if a socialist country were precieved by the west to be totalitarian, it would still be more democractic. The people OR a majority of them ought to own all land and all industry-THIS is more democractic. To allow private capitalists to own millions of dollars worth of industry (the means of production) is anti-democractic

  • Capitalism and Imperialism has killed over one billion people throughout history

(spread this far and wide over the internet)

  • Long Live DPRK and Kim JONG

  • @COMMUNISTPHILOSOPHY fuck kim jong

  • @cowdust51 die hard loser, pro-US imperialist puppet, thats what you are

  • @COMMUNISTPHILOSOPHY you don't know who I am. Better yet, you don't know who you are and you certainly don't know who kim jong is

  • @cowdust51 wrong, you are "cowdust". Have studied far more on DPRK than you would ever know, even studied it's Constitution

  • @COMMUNISTPHILOSOPHY Then you would have to realize that you only know as much about DPRK as that country's regime will permit. Neither Korea or the U.S. has been entirely honest to it's own people over the course of history. And even countries like the U.S. or China blatantly ignore their constitutions at times becaue they can.

  • @cowdust51 of course lol. arguably no regime in history has been completely accountable and transparent. Who ever said DPRK was perfect in this respect?

In a socialist state all OR a majority of all land & industry ought to be under public ownership OR, if not, the state ought to own it all, why? The state can be caretaker of it all on "behalf of all the people". In effect, all land & industry can be held on a kind of a trust-for all citizens. In this way, the capitalist parasites are doomed

  • @cowdust51 The "State" has proven to be a failure when it comes to taking care of people's most basic needs. It's a humanitarian nightmare when millions starve to death and millions more have inadequate health needs not being addressed for the citizens. And the working class is treated as little more than slaves, when they cannot even own their own property. Capitalism has many many problems, but capitalism combined with true democracy at least leaves room for dissenting voices.

  • Mr. Wang and Ms Muo xD That made me laugh

  • 0:39...MR Wang? Someone made a typo. I dont think there was any MR Wang speaking lol

  • It's really hard to believe what's going on inside this country. If you are interested in the subject, I truly recommend the book "Nothing to Envy," which is about the lives of people in North Korea. The book is based on the recollections of defectors. Yes, the guards are indeed there to keep the people IN.

  • only thing i notice is a western media covering and admitting china is an open and free society only when they need to shit on another country who's dictator doesn't kiss their ass.

  • Take note, this is what too much government can lead to.

  • Is that a confederate flag at 1:38 ?

  • @ninjacarldk thats what i thought

  • @ninjacarldk north korean flag.....

  • How ironic, the CHINESE of all people griping how oppressive North Korea is.

  • @rickcain2320 stfu you capitalist slave owner

  • @rickcain2320 China is a Free country...I lived their for 2 years and loved it...

  • Tbh I would love to live even just for a week in N.Korea and get a insight into there life. See if it really is as bad as its said or if people are just overstating.

  • @KriminalOfficial actually people got used to it.. for them is not as terrible... but for someone used to western civilization is depressing. some people dont get paid at all.. they are just able to keep some of the crops for themselves, others in cities use the land on parks to crop food. one mistake and you get sent to labor camp. offcourse, if you belong to "the party" you recieve some kind of inmunity.

  • if you hate someone really much you just sent them to north korea

    it's worse than torture

  • 0:38

MR Wang? More like Ms Wrong.

  • Don't feed Kim's regime, China.

  • LOL WTF THEY GOT THE MR AND MS WRONG

  • Prosperous and living in toxic polluted environment.

  • Well... North Korea looks... Rustic?

  • wow! are all men in china that feminine and all women that masculine?

  • @shirusubemonaku obviously not. china has over 1 billion peope. how can you expect all of them to be masculine?

  • at least it seems better than MArs. MArs has no life at all!

  • If China did not support North Korea that country would fall apart within a year.....

  • @11B30Inf

China support for the Norks is actually reducing thankfully.

  • uh gender mixup.

  • FUck Commercials!

  • Ms wang is pretty damn hot, I would do her.

  • Did Ms. Muo and Mr. Wang get sex changes? LOL

  • "the leaders have really helped us"? Sure, just don't go anywhere in public and speak openly with an opinion that differs with the State.

  • Why don't they just swim over?

  • @ADVERTlSEMENT snipers at NK's side will shoot them.

  • @ADVERTlSEMENT Many people do this, there are guides in north korea who helps korean crossing the border, but most of the people go back to north korea a few days later, some people stay outside north korea and go to south korea. but crossing the amnok river is very hard! You need to pay much, and in north korea, you won't be allowed to leave your province without permission. it's a police state you know...

  • @ADVERTlSEMENT exactly what i was thinking

  • compare seoul's scene with this one... hard to think that north and south were once together

  • @lolchancelol you are so right, comparing south and north, hard to believe.

  • its sad, they talk about NK as if "meh, they arent doing that good, too bad" not having any idea what horrors occur over that border. Sad...

  • @ravenhousegaming Of course they all know what happens! They sure as hell know much better than we do, since they get to hear it from the koreans themselves!!!

  • the captions puts Mr for the woman and Ms for the dude, someone didn't pay attention in American University and have bad Engrish

  • funny fact Mr. Wang does infact not have a Wang like the video says

  • Hahahah they fucked up with "Ms Muo" and "Mr Wang"

  • North Korea, what a paradise

  • China has much to blame for this.......they are keeping N. Korea linger on for political reasons.....they are sending back refugees well knowing they will get shot. N. Korean women in China are being sold as sex slaves....hrmmm...great job China....some world leader u are!

  • @bumhokim like america sending mexicans back across the border and their women go to america to be prostitutes?

  • @shadowindadark lets make some few things clear. China well aware that when N. Korean refugees will be executed or sent to concentration camps when sent back but still sends them back. Mexcians crossing the border gets sent back but keeps coming back with no jail time & feely crosses the border again and again. How do I know? I got tons of them around my neighborhood and they all say the same! BTW, mexican prostitutes in US are by choice and making money, not being slaves.

  • @shadowindadark I'm from a state that is 60% hispanic (California) and I've never seen a hispanic prostitue.. ever. Mexicans are largely Catholic, so it's not surprising that it's rare. So what the fuck are you talking about. I'm sure Australia's great, but I'm sure your media is as fucked as Europe's, and the US' in some respects. Oh yeah, Illegal immigrants get off muder/rape/theft charges with deportation, as opposed to N Koreans publicly executed... again, wtf are you talking about dude

  • @shadowindadark You say EE.UU, not America, America is not a country, is a CONTINENT.

  • @bumhokim

    you nailed it bro..

while all this is happening world is quiet. North korea should have been instead of iraq..

  • @reens79 Iraq has nothing to do with this.

The only reason george bush's peanut brain declared war on iraq was because of oil, So many people hurt because of oil! What a moron

  • 0.35 ShiAn JiAn! ... Chinese cracks me up!

  • Did he say that China had been open for 30 years? ^^

  • ms muo has a manly voice

  • @r1chb1ch Because he is a man..

  • @r1chb1ch But Mr.Wang's quite hot.

  • @r1chb1ch She looks like a man too. XD

  • @r1chb1ch That guy IS a man fool. Didn't you ever think that perhaps he had TWO WORDs for a first name and the reporting agency simply shortened them to initials?

  • In North Korea gender changes you

  • I think it's crucial to note that those guards aren't really there to keep intruders OUT; they're there to keep the North Korean people IN.

  • @gabeuop79 As they do in the other people's paradise of Cuba. No one ever died trying to take a makeshift raft from Miami to Havana.

  • @gabeuop79 No shit.

  • dont they trade with china?

  • And Ms Muo looks more like a man.

  • man.. in Dandong border, it was like heaven and hell... China have tall buildings scattered in the river bank, while North Korea... well.... ruined one...

Cmon Jong-Il, open ur border for ur own people!

  • In Soviet China, Mr Wang is a woman and Ms Muo is a man.

  • OK. You are invited to call in on every Saturday with friends to satet your concerns on Live-Talk Internet Radio 1-661-449-9333 Tune-In blogtalkradio-dot-com/the_black_plight-in-america You will not regret this life's event!

  • something is wrong with the captions

  • @StevieChannel communism does not work, it is incompatible with human nature but it is wrong to state those countries are communist. they used it as a tool to get power and implemented dictatorships. in a REAL communist nation (which has never existed btw) the government has melted away. the problem is expecting the people you give massive power to achieve this change to give up that power which does not happen.

  • Lucky for North Korea, they have China to get goods from. But still Kim's country is still being plague by famine & poverty. I've seen videos of it.

  • LOLOLOL 1:39 GINGERBREAD HOUSE!

  • Why is the woman in this video constantly smiling when she's talking about how bleak life in North Korea must be?

  • is it possible for people to swim across to china to escape north korea?

  • @911toothache, yes. It happens more often than not. However, the fortunes of North Koreans who try to escape to China aren't very good if they get caught. China doesn't accept refugees of any kind (and for good reason; look at its population), so any undocumented migrants who are caught are deported. If they're deported back to North Korea, we never hear from them again (you can reach your own conclusions about what happens).

  • bet we could sneak past the gaurds in a carboard box like solid snake

  • Looks like a wasteland

  • It's a shame N. Korea never had a Deng xiaopeng to ease things down and open things up.

  • Yikes!

  • hah the woman's a Mister and the man's a Miss!

  • why dont they just swim across?

  • Comment removed

  • @saifakbor how come? from where there standing it looks as if its possible?

  • Comment removed

  • @augustana16 My sister says there was a program at her school and China supports North Korea so if they somehow make it across..China will try to capture them and send them back (executed or concentration camp) South Korea under North Korea is impossible also since there are armies there.

btw this video called Life In North Korea on youtube from LinkGlobal

says that they usually go across at night in the freezing water less noticeable maybe?

  • Mr Wang n Ms Muo The girl and boy were swapped=.= 这么傻的错误!

  • Damn that river and the boats...scary... by the way, has anybody seen that movie "Apocalypse Now"?

  • @CallwinOEF Relevant....

  • These poor people are being brainwashed with propaganda. They need to resist the Stalinist regime. Their view on the world relies on an obsolete ideology which is being fought all around the world now.

  • @VegitoBlitz24

China has already gone capitalist. And over 95% Chinese know the communism only exists by its name.

  • was that guy brainwashed or just threatened to say those things? 'our leaders have made us happy' yeah, oh the merciful Chinese Communist party..... it might have helped the Chinese economy but it is still brutal oppressive regime with very little freedom of speech

  • @bbphnix

You know nothing about China. The sitiuation of freedom in China has improved a lot compared to Mao's era.

You can't expect it to improve 100 times overnight. Step by step is the only way.

  • USA and Europe would bother

  • People keep saying the citizens of NK should resist like the Arabs, but unlike the Arab governments, NK has a very cold, organised and efficient regime which has stopped the likes of the UN, USA and Europe interfering with them. And even if the citizens revolted and the government massacred it's people, the UN couldn't do much as NK is a greater force to be reckoned with than Libya or Iran, otherwise it would have stopped NK a long time ago. Anyways there's no oil in NK for the West so the UN,

  • The North korean people should resist like they do now in libya. if this fat turd kim jong il tries to kill his people, The UN will attack NK... After that we must destroy terrorism.

  • @TDNSLEDANG The UN Is not going to attack North Korea. Just because NK has no Oil & Gas.

  • @TDNSLEDANG considering that 50 people per 1000 is in the military... I don't think it'll work out...

  • N. Korea looks like a awesome call of duty map.

Seriously 1 tiny tactile nuke in Pyongyang, problem solved.

All kidding aside, 2012 the US leaves the Korean Peninsula, god knows what will happen then, unless a massive Tsunami fucks shit up where two sides have to work together then maybe there might be a chance for peace and reunification.
