I for one adore the original song, and many others by Lady Gaga, and this variation showcases not only her talent of songwriting, but your impeccable piano playing skills to an extent where you have, whether conciously or not, taken the meaning of the song and the emotions it conveys, then amplified them, making me sing along and cry at the same time. First video ever to make me do that. Ever.

Just buy a keyboard and start by using the web! That's why i did :). I've never had a lesson.

Your idea is valid but I don't want to teach myself to play then have to unlearn any bad playing habits I might develop.

I think it's just better to learn it once the right way then proceed from there.

I took a look at your videos as well. They are certainly not bad for having never taken any formal lessons.

best thing for you to do is get a good teacher and learn 1-2-1 for the start anyway...find a good teacher and practice scales/arpeggios in both hands to strengthen them on a daily basis for a couple of hours a day....after a while you will see great improvement. Good luck :)

@UKpiano And also, dont learn to read sheet music but learning the notes as every good boy....,, that makes it harder in the future, you should learn which note goes where from the start and you will learn it quicker becuase you dont rely on counting the lines to work out the note,, thats what i did wrong anyway :/ xD
