I took it for a test drive. It's looks really good in real life. Overall it's a big improvement on the old impreza. The one thing I didn't like was the 4th gear compared to the 2011 version. But it has a lot of things better about it than last year, the fuel efficiency and the space. Definitely the best 4WD I could find

shit.. nice car.. but subaru used to look different from all the other cars on the road.. but now remove the logo and the impreza looks like the camry looks like the malibu looks like the taurus.. its fucked.. but still .. if i get a subaru ill be getting the WRX or STI.. so i dayne give a shit..

i really like the fact that the styling is less aggressive. most new cars, especially hyundais and kias, are incredibly ugly to me because of overly-aggressive styling. this looks like a well built, well designed car

@joshgrami I LIVE in wisconsin, heh. Moved here in 93. AWD doesn't make you a superstar in the snow, and my FWD car is workable in the snow. Would rather have a more luxurious car that has better economy for the same price.

@colinstu I ALSO live in Wisconsin. And I don't want to compromise. I don't want a car that's "workable" in the snow, I want something that will kick snow's ass. It's all a matter of opinion, and you can get a Subaru that gets pretty darn near luxury. (Not the Impreza though). These cars are safe, fun, reliable, look good, and are not affected by luxury. I love my Legacy. But to each his own.

i think the gas mpg on this car not just good i think it is awesome for 4 wheel drive 27 MPG city 36 MPG high way that's more than awesome man still not crazy about the exterior design but this will be my winter season car that for sure :-D
