I really want to like this game but I'm just not crazy about it compared to the other 2. The gameplay is the worst part; you can just skip all the enemies essentially or take them out with a hit or two. I never used any damage items because there is just no need. The RPG elements are non-existent compared to the other Paper Mario games.

I didnt like the fact that they took out the classic term based gameplay. I really enjoyed it a lot.

Seems like they went bacc to the old style platform jump on enemies type. not saying it was bad but i felt that it isn't what made paper mario, paper mario. I

f they do make a 4th one. I really hope they return the term base gameplay.

they should make a ds pper mario but different from the 64 version or virtual console cause than no one would buy the vc version

The first 2 were MUCH better and I'd like to see Nintendo make more of paper mario's like the first 2!

not me. u know why. the game sucks. i bought it for 55 bucks. and luckily. they bought it back. for 20 frickin bucks. if this game is so spectacular why wouldnt they buy it for at least half-a-price. i didnt even own it for 2 weeks. this game sucks and i was robbed on it

The way you spend it does not determine whether or not the game sucks. If you didn't like it, then that's your opinion. But seriously though this is a good game, and if you think a game sucks because you bought it unfairly, then I have lost faith in people like you. And that's saying a lot cause I've lost faith in people like you from the start. Try coming up with a good reason why you didn't like it, and try again later.

no its not only that. i didn't find the gameplay enjoyment on this one. i liked the 2 others on gamecube and n64 but this one isn't like that. i think paper mario should just be a BIG world instead of going from level to level. if i knew iv'e probably bought super mario galaxy.

PS: that comment i wrote before..well you can just say i needed something to blame. now that i think about it, super paper mario WAS actually enjoyable for at least 2 days or so, but then it just looses it's charm.

Okay, fair enough. But I still love the game because it reminds me of those retro style Mario games with some RPG elements added in. And since I never grew up with the old Paper Mario games, then I guess I wouldn't understand how people like you would feel about the series. I do have Paper Mario on the VC however, and I might buy the sequel after I've finished it. Also, I'm more into platformers than RPGs which would explain a lot.
