Rottweilers are strong breeds one of the strongest .. Most rotties tails are ducked off, this is why they can't jump and cant keep balance sometimes. Rottweilers with tails are the ones to judge.
@janella1980 hey dumbass rottwiellers look almost ecactly like dobermans so wtf are you talking about i hope they cut your balls off so your dumbass wont breed a doberman has no chance with a rott wieller what your dumbass theory of a doberman beating a rottwieller does the doberman just run around until the rott just forgets him please you got to be a retard to think a doberman is a better dog rotts are smarter and stronger the only thing a doberman can do better is run away
@janella1980 without the rott there would be no doberman. The Rott was used in the breeding process to create the doberman. A lot of the size, strength, and color that dobermans have is attributed to the rottweiler
I have a question about rottweilers, My family has always stuck with labs but now that we've been dogless for a while I really love the way rottweilers look is this a dog that you would recommend with small children in the house?
i have two children and have a rottie and he is a gentle giant but very protective of the kids..they are a great breed of dog and very loyal towards their family..so yes i would recommend a rottie it's a shame the reputation they get it's the way they are brought up treat them kindly and you will have a friend for life
Rotts are fine with children of their own house.... but you have to let your children play with rottweiler when he is still small young about 2-3 months old. Let them play nice to get very good friends. Some small children are sometimes nasty... they use to pull tail , ears , so at that time you have to be careful with your rott.
And upto 2-3 years let your children play with them infront of you... And a trainable rott is very good dog.

Nice place to have a couple of dogs. I like the way the Rottie gives it's toy a good shaking right at the end.
