  • Does anyone else think Pete Rock sounds like Biggie on this?

  • honestly the original is better. I mean listen to the beat on the original and really break it down, its just bananas. No question this is a dope song tho.

  • Too damn dope and smooth in a nostalgic kinda way.

  • remix was hotta than the original but not to twist it the original made me cop this single

  • the original is cool but this remix is just a lot better

  • i love this song and beat !

  • Ya know, I was kinda forgettin out the older days of hip hop when a remix was more than just having somebody throw an extra verse onto the end of the original song. THIS is how a remix should be done

  • I like this as much as the original...Hot!

  • Im seriously starting to prefer Pete Rocks rap over CL hahaha

  • I think this is better than the original=)

  • Youtube messing up the quality so much, both versions were dope ass fuck!

  • I wish that I was there when this came out. They had me out in the Boondocks way past the suburban areas. Out of touch, out of reach, and outside of the loop. So, while cats was takin it for granted, I was cherishing the lil bit of radio and video that I came across with these guys back in like '93.

  • WOOOOOOWW. dis was da shit.

  • I used to complain back in the day because this was the only hip hop I could listen to.. I totally appreciate this now.. thanks pops!

  • The original beat is better than this shit.

  • @BfromSD1 u crazy this shit hot !!!

  • Can't really compare the original to this. I love both versions, the original is a laid-back version. I'd listen to that if I'm in the car or I'm just relaxing. This song for me I'd listen to if I'm working out. It also sounds like something I'd listen to in the winter.

  • @Anarchistdontsleep Saying stuff like that is the main thing that keeps racism going on and on..... dont identify difference and there will be no difference at the end of the day

Do you understand what im saying? Thumbs up if you agree

  • Don Covay - If there's a will there's a way

  • ♥ .

  • DAMN THIS IS DA SHIT

    OLD SKOOL IS DA BEST

  • Akinyele also had this beat for "I Luh Hur" in 1993

  • wish someone had an MP3 of this to send me, damn i wud love u if u did nammaen

  • this is better than the original

  • anybody got this on MP3 that can send to me? plz hook a brotha up

    Great Song

  • SICK TUNE!

    CHECK MY BEATS!

  • this was around 1992-93.he was about 23 or 23 yrs old

  • How old was he when he made this track? Fucking amazing !!!!!!

  • this one, pete's fades em all remix (jamal) and redefinition (black star with black thought) make my top 3 PR remixes, no doubt!

  • amazing song 5 stars!

  • thanks man..

In your vagina, I work it like a surgeon

Butt naked version, many petitions on a virgin

You call me a bad man, I bend her like a beer can

  • Man , I don't know ... THe original is an all time classic . I listen to it till this day . That track is so smooth and laid back ... production so ill. GOtta go with the original.

    Rock Rock ON!

  • @alysahalliwell

some ppl hate coz it feeds their sense of being puttin other ppl down. sad but true.

If I dont like sumtin I jus leave it well alone, cant overstand why sum ppl search for tings they dont like ????

    peace an elbow grease

  • omfg. dis song was da shit.

  • IMO there is noone better as far as dynamic duo's. Only outkast ! Rock rock on PETE! LUV

  • VACKERT!

  • sample's also on ak's i used to luh hur

so laid back.. gotta love it

  • sounds like the Southside sample

  • when ur nipples get hard i wanna praise god...

  • eternal lovin

    to the eternal pete rock

  • No doubt... first heard this in the record store. Bought the wax b/c they didn't have the tape or cd... and I didn't have a record player. It sat up in my closet until my man who's a DJ played it a yr later... from that moment on, they are the greatest rap duo ever. Still got the wax too! I ain't sellin so don't ask... LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • thats wassup b

  • hahah I love how Pete always has those 30 minute shoutouts where he bigs up everyone he ever met:

I'D LIKE TO GIVE A SHOUTOUT TO MY PASTOR BACK IN 3RD GRADE.. AND SHOUTOUT TO MY OLD NEIGHBOR MRS ELLEN FOR HOOKIN NIGGA UP WITH SOME VANILLA WAFFERS WHEN MOMMA WASN'T FEEDIN ME.....(ect)

  • he said that

  • "WHEN YOUR NIPPLES GET HARD, I WANNA PRAISE GOD" lol now that's love

  • kanye is illuminati....that level is way too advanced for a 'normal nigga'...big up pete rock and c.l.

  • yeah kanye sampled this for

    Common's "Southside"

  • I sampled this for remix of "we got the" by the beastie boys. check it out. its in my channel. really sick sample!

  • I love ending ov this shit. These shotouts rockin´ all headz all around the world connected with this beat. I got question. Does anybody got this track instrumental?

  • why was the original vid for this song taken down? im not really feelin this version

  • rockin' :D Love this and the original!

  • lots of lovin'

    this is very cool remix!

  • There's no question that Pete Rock was the best producer of his generation. Premier is good, but he doesn't have that lasting memorable factor that Pete had.

  • I dunno... Ive heard plenty of memorable premo beats.

  • modern hip-hop can't hold a candle stick to this type of groove... nobody has any soul anymore... kanye is wack as fuck! 80/90's hip-hop forever!

  • FINALLY, another vote for Kanye's wackness! Learn how to chop samples up, you narcissistic fuck, and don't sample the whole damned record! Peace.

  • yah right Kanye was just put in the bizness the kid grow up, should not... weird commorcial style

  • aw damn pete rock...you the man...my cd player is givin this song lots of lovin...hahahaha...

  • got damn!!!! who make hiphop like this ,, am 33yrs frm HARLEM . and i still rock my 90's hiphop. i put this up against ANY hiphop joint out right now!!!! THXZ

  • YA have no idea how much i played this song out back in the day.. I love this beat.. I was soo corny cuz u couldnt get in my car with out hearin this song at least 10 times b 4 u got out.. even now today i still cant stop playin it.. LMAO.. i cant beleive i found this song here .. .. BEST REMIX BEAT EVA

  • lets see dj khaled drop some shit like this

  • Right on, brotha! Teach them! Peace.

  • word kid....

  • hip hop is for all coulours & Races im black 13 & OLD SKOOL IS ALL I BUMB TO! FUCK DAT SOULJA BOY SHIT!

  • hey ho, i sampled this track yo. "Beastie Boys - we got the (remix)" check it out pleeze. wanna know what you folks think about it!

  • RIP 90's HipHop :(

  • another great song.

    luvin it

  • this beat was on Southside by Common and Kanye!

  • same sample, different beat

  • this beat is better @incrediblecHiller

  • @Thespdsofdrknss thats a damn shame, Common im fine with, its that faggot Kanye who Im not feelin, Kanye should never be allowed to go near a Pete Rock beat niggas a fruit pop

  • love this song but the remix is even better old school till i die! 17 black

  • man your ethnicity, nationality, color means nothing when it comes to the music you listen to... its whats in your heart, what moves you.

  • hit the nail on the head

  • the original is more for gettin it on, and this version is more for like a party or cruisin or something like that, but both versions are great, and pete rock and cl smooth are tremendously great. i can't seem to go a day without listening to them. i'm only 18 and enjoy them, eric b. & rakim, pharcyde, a tribe called quest, digital underground, run-dmc, and outkast WAY more than what they call hip hop that's played on mtv and the radio.

  • It's very refreshing to see a cat your age know wat's really up! Keep it moving. You listen to the same stuff i like ..

  • i'm 21 and white !!! beat that !! lol and hip hop is where it's at ... old school at its best !!!

for the most part i hate this top of the charts rap shit ...gangster hip pop lol

50 cent "can suck a big fat dick" lol underground hiphop and old school is the only shit that is real !!!

  • beat that? well like i said i'm 18, but i'm also half white, half mexican. there you go

  • 16 white boy, listening to Pete Rock & CL, Big L, A Tribe Called Quest, name them all old school thing.

  • who cares what age and race you are? if you love the music it shouldnt matter who or where you come from. were all one.

  • Im 16, white, live in L.A., In a hardcore band and I bump this shit all day.

  • Can't nobody flip a re-mix like the chocolate boy wonder.. The best beat man ever!

  • kanye is wack

  • yeah hes a d'bag

  • And that refers to Kanye Wack, in case you didn't understand the context. Peace.

  • no offence to common and kanye, but Pete Rock flipped this sample much better than kanye. The skill levels are uncomparable, Pete is the greatest producer of them all. Up there with Premiere, maybe Dilla is also up there. perhaps Madlib too.

  • i agree, but maybe kanye would have flipped it in a different way if this remix wouldn't exist, you know?

  • definatly a valid point my friend. I dont like chosing sides, but i have to say that kanye's shit wont be conparable to Pete's for a while. but the kid is surely skilled.

  • true.

    pete>>kanye

    both shouldn't rap, though

  • Pete's is better.

But you gotta give it to kanye tho, his version is less repetitive.

  • Looooove this song!

  • I never heard this remix...it's awesome.

  • One of the best remixes ever...The original was not broke...F u if u don't like this u don't like hip hop

  • omg. My soul just died and went to hip-hop heaven.

    This song is pure ecstasy.

  • I think I'm going to cry. Peace.

  • hahaha I had to dig at the comment you were replying to. I forgot I write that.. well one year later and I'm still jammin to this like it first came out!

  • yep... first time I heard this was on DooWop's Spring Break '93 tape. Around that time, Pete could do no wrong in my eyes and this one was right up my alley. Def. love that sample!

  • Love this remix from Pete Rock & CL Smooth, real hip hop from the early 90's, classic "ish"!!

  • Damn this song was from 7th grade 89'..i feel old listenin to this..lol.. Music was the shit back then.. man.

  • '89?

This was more like '92 or 93.

  • Pete rock tha best!!!

  • I have this on wax from back in the day!! One of my favorite remixes from Pete...

  • good ol' hiphop music. new school? old school? don't give a fuck... great music!!! peace out

  • fresh baby..go a lotta love for you to put this here...

from wich 12 inch is this remix?

  • i got this from a comp with rare tracks and remixes from Pete Rock that niceguyeddie sent me.

  • sorry, NiceGuyJigsaw is his name on here...

  • so you have the remix of "I Got A Love"

  • jup, got it...

  • it's the lots of lovin 12 inch..it's backed wit "It's Not a Game" released on Elecktra 1993.

    peace
