this was my very first concert experience. and what a one, eh? pete and rog just fucking rooocked it! i love behind blue eyes

Pete Townshend wrote the song, and he has blue eyes, normally when you think blue eyes you think the person is good, pure but he is saying nobody knows what it's like to be looked at as a bad person and have blue eyes. One line in the song is "I have hours, only lonely" a lot of the time Pete was writing songs for the band they weren't around, he wrote everything by himself and was often saddened by this fact, the band didn't realize this untill he showed them this song.

haha i was there too, floor seats section F3 row 9. awesome concert, this was the second time this tour ive seen them (chicago was the first) and this show blew the chicago one out of the water. they are such badasses, nice job getting this vid up so soon.
