Gell Mann endorsed Obama because McCain was a dangerous fool who had no concept of reality, as are many politicians on both sides of the aisle. Obama's weakness is that he doesn't challenge Repulicans MORE. I strongly believe Republicans, particularly the so called Christian coalition, represent a backwards movement that would see us enter a new dark age. hey we meet again. Obama's BS is known to the whole scientific community -- from his health care bill to his minority-driven, race-based political tactics. Most scientists care more about science, its funding, climate change, than Obama's aforementioned policies. To many in the scientific field, Science comes at the top. The Republicans can win the scientific community if they support science and climate change legislation, by cutting support for Christian conservatives.

Gell Mann is the type of person who when he THOUGHT that his stipend / scholarship was donated by a conservative he could not bring himself to thank the possible donor thru a blind letter to them.

What does this mean? He is too rigid and authoritarian in his thinking to even THANK a conservative who he though paid for his costs.
