NICE JOB! just try not to lean so much , for this could off balence your horse . Since this is only one video it probably doesnt reflect your riding but just incase it does this is my ONLY critque . THis first pony looks like a hard one to jump so GOOD JOB
I think they all did really well! :) My old horse was difficult to jump so for those of you who have made nasty comments I'd like to see you sit on that horse and do as well...
You can tell that the horse was giving her a hard time. She's a good rider for being able to stay on. I can't believe that people can't see this, I mean how she stops and then jumps? Seriously, you can tell. It's not the girls fault. And she did really good at getting her over!
the first horse seems to be running through the bit, but i might be wrongg. my mare that runs barrels will do this alottt on the way home and i just put a bit one step up on her until she starts listening again and then put the snaffle back in. idkk, just noticed it :)
that is basicly what i said im not critising at all.yes she will pissabout-she was testing her rider, but all of them do it,some more noticable than others.i know that coz i have broken in a few race horses, including my own horse, and they all test their rider,so they know who they can misbehave with, and who they cant.its just a fact.
anyways i wasnt trying to start a arguement it just annoys me how ppl seem to always blame the horse. i didnt mean to offend anyone sorry if i did.
im close friends with her owners and have riden her alot-she does not buck everyone off in the school, thats a load of cr*p tbh!! yes she bucks, but not that badly-shes young and she doesnt understand alot of commands-most people just get angry with her which i thinks out of order honeys not a bad horse.shes good if you praise her when shes good and she doesnt misbehave as often coz she feels more confident in herself..and tbh shes not a hard horse to ride atall!!
i never said she bucks of anyone in the school, but she does go a LOT better for her owners, and if you ride her once her owners have ridden her.
i've already stated she's a young horse, and my friends ridden her and she had a huge problem getting her to move, and honey threw in some huge bucks. she wasnt having a problem understanding the commands, she was taking the piss.
I agree, Honey is not a bad horse. I am good friends with her owners also, in fact, they asked me to ride her once or twice when they were away this Summer.
She doesn't buck everyone off, but Alex didn't say that. She goes AMAZINGLY for Emily and Juliet, but that is because they have had time to get used to her and such. However, if she knows she can get round you once, if you let your guard slip, or arent ready, she will take advantage of it, and will take the piss.
Very very brave of this person to ride this pony! she looks extremely difficult, and well done for that rider getting herself and this Honey pony around that course safely. she takes really deep spots and long strides, once again, bravo to this rider!
its not that she needs a more experienced rider on her...its the fact that she had never jumped walls or fillers before and throws everyone off her in the school! lol but thanks for the advice
the girl on 'honey' should stay more balenced, it will help the horse a lot. the horse looked fine just a little green, maybe it needs a bit more experienced rider?
at least he got over some of them, good job at that.
honey only really goes well for her owners - she's a young horse and she doesn't jump filters and shizz often. she doesnt need a more experienced rider.

im not saying honey looks like a easy horse But over 2 jumps she fell on his neck over them. this is not honeys fault that is all within the rider and like i said the rider for a little more difficult horse like honey should have better balence and more experience. She took honey at horrible angles to one of the fences and did not prepare.
And i wish i could get on that horse. i tought my horse how to jump, and been training young timid warmblood/draft to jump.
no, like i said the rider should be balenced enough not to fall all over on the horse. Honey is not going to get any better if someone constently falling on her.
sian doesn't normally ride honey. however, at this moment, honey's owners were away and she needed exercising. the fact that she did it,even after falling off honey twice is enough.
well, if you cant really say this sian lasted, she fell off and was hanging on the horses neck most the video. if everyone saying she did 'soooo well' then why would u think i couldnt last 2 min? i have a grand prix trainer i think i could handle it hun.
thats great he goes well for his owners, but idk why u would post sian on youtube. Yeah she got guts to ride him i geuss, but im not going to say 'wow she did awesome' so if thats what ur trying to make me say im not.
i'm not quite sure why or how you feel that you can base your judgements on a minute and a bit's worth of video? do you honestly think this is it? a video to a groove coverage song? i didn't film all of her ride - i didn't want to, i didn't need to, and yet you seem to think that your judgements are accurate and you stand by them, when what you judge on is not the full picture..?
look, to be honest your opinion is neither desired nor required, so kindly save yourself the time of typing out
(cont.) continuous, inaccurate judgements on a video on youtube. grand prix trainer or not, it's not your trainer riding the horse, it'd be you, and you cannot tell how well you will fair on honey.
The white pony was really fast but the rider did a great job controlling him/her. =-) And the rider did a good job on Honey I thought and the last rider on the paint was really good. The paint looked hard to control. =-) But they all did a great job. =-)
omg i cant believe i fell off twice! im still aching from that day...but the bruises were worth it.. lol. thanks for all the understanding comments! Honey is a bitch to jump, but its only because she's not used to the fillers! xxx

I just thought that the goal is to keep your horse collected and relaxed, for the head to be a little lower and the nose down, and then you release over the jump as the neck stretches out.
wish my horse was as good as that

Honey tends to leap over jumps so that's probably why she was on her neck.

maybe they should choose a rider that can handle the horse?
everyone is a beginner jumper at some point, but putting them on a horse they cant quite handle isnt good.

Right well just so you know, Sian is a great rider and I will literally detest anyone who says differently
Honey is very difficult to jump if you haven't ridden her much and Sian was an experienced rider who could take it what she did and not be phased.
Fourthly I will absolutely LOATHE you to even touch my horse because of what you just said
And remember don't judge anything from what you see in a few minutes of film.
