GRID was an awesome game! I loved the fact you could have your own sponsors that got money, your own team-mate, you couldnt mod cars, 16 cars on grid, the tracks plus the fact that the racing was brilliant! It made me feel like a proper racing driver. One of my favourite racing games. Multiplayer was good too (best demo ever!) I just cant wait for GRID 2!

Of course the real driving experience is better. I know because i drove a rally car for sometime and it was so cool!!! But GRID is still a great racing game to play :D

This game would be cool if it was even close to being realistic. Theres specific simulators you can buy that are actually used by some racining teams, but there upwards of $ 18,000. The game still looks cool, however I hate all the idiots who think the driving is accurate to real life and because of it they get huge egos about how they actually drive. Most of these people end up destroying there car haha. WORK AND BUY THE REAL THING! THAN GO TO A TRACK! VIDEO GAMES = MEH REAL LIFE = FUCK YEAH!

I've driven a few of my friends before and they are possibly one of the worst series of cars ever produced. They are incredibly slow and can't beat anything and the engineering is pathetic. If you went on a track just about any other vehicle there would take you down. A lot of teenagers like them because they think they look cool, but they're not. The price of them is also bullshit because the parts can't cost more than 5,000 to build one.

but doesnt the weight of the car affect how it handles?! The Mustang is heavy compared to the bmw. i think that the bmw was more tuned for taking sharp turns and maintaning that speed. while the mustang is stright up power n speed.

true...i played the demo on ps3 and it was horrible...the bmw handled like a muscle car and the mustang had almost no control.

Depends on if your using the driver aids or not, turn all of those off and then you have to drive it properly, its just because your not used to games where the car will spin and tumble if you throw it into a bend too fast, you have to drive these cars right to get them to perform right, go take some driving lessons or something, or maybe even play it on a pc instead of a toy like a ps3

What? You want it to be as hard as an actual car race? You'd never play something that realistic. You'd stop after your first race. What is it with everyone's obsession with physics, realism and graphics in games now-a-days? I miss the NES days when they were forced to just make good games, and things like graphics and realism just...weren't big issues because of the limitations of the system on those aspects.

Because it provides something that is similar to the real thing and allows people to drive cars on the limit without the risk of killing themselves. It's good practice for if you're participating in a real-world race.
