I love Sum 41.. I loved every album INCLUDING Underclass Hero. I don't understand why people hate on that album so much. The lyrics are very real and that album was as real as Chuck and Screaming Bloody Murder. People just need to stop expecting bands to release albums nowadays. I hate the same old "I Miss the old..." comments.

why does live songs sounds like shit if you compare them to recorded songs...the sounds is better and cleaner

@torrese96 consider this, in the studio they got mics set perfectly to get the perfect volume for every instrument, they got software and technology that can correct even the smallest mistakes, they can do another take if they're not happy the first time. When you play live and you're moving and pumped up, so it's impossible not to make a couple mistakes every once in a while. You're also playing 10x louder than in studio, and the mix isn't as good cause you can't change things later.

@DaCheznik Actually they can change things later.. thats why they have a soundboard... and a person running the soundboard.. for instance, lets say there's a guitar solo, the lead guitar in this part gets turned up in thye house speakers so that his solo is projected among the crowd... the camera doesnt always pick this up, so thats why things sound different on a video than in person.. but trust me. once you go to a concert you will notice it.

Screw dave, if hes willing to quit the band then he doesnt deserve to be in it. they replaced him with one of their idols, all dave did was the odd solo here and there, he wasnt anything special. most amateurs could play to daves standard. okay sum 41 had a sh*t phase with underclass hero but theyve realised that and theyre back!!

@a7x4eva124 not to sound douchey, but let me point out some facts you probably missed. nightmare is lyrically about the band losing the rev. every song in there has a rev reference in it. you might think its mainstream but you need to realize this is also the music they wanted to do, and it was the last music they ever created with the rev. that was the main motive to put out nightmare. and the band said nightmare was 65% written by the rev, as screaming bloody murder was with deryck
