I think you need to take a step back, tune your guitar, LISTEN to the sound you're making and learn the song properly. Don't try to look cool whilst you're playing, there's no point if it sounds shit. Play along to a backing track until you have it perfect, then post up a video to show us how you've improved! Don't practise until you get it right - practise 'til you never get it wrong!
