I've mirrored the original video on YouDoubled and have taken the liberty of copying the text from your description box (credited to you of course). I hope that's ok.
This video implies there is a decision by YouTube to remove C0nc0rdance's video. If a video isn't flagged by someone I doubt YouTube staff will ever view it. Maybe the other video's mentioned in comparison were never flagged. I don't know of anyway to check which videos are flagged or otherwise. TheTruePooka makes an interesting point, but its speculation, do we KNOW YouTube removes popular videos if they can't make money (advertise)?
Was the tone of the video against circumcision? Or was it just a look at the processes? I think if it be the former the take down wasn't really anything to do with fears of 'indecency' but of religious politics.
@NativeAlternative it was neither, and that's the trouble with its being taken down: it makes it difficult to watch to evaluate on one's own what it is all about.
Apart from the slightly negative tone taken suggesting that 'artistic' nudity was less valid that medical or scientific nudity I support this video entirely. Not that Google cares of course
@conferencereport I did not in anyway imply that artistic nudity is less valid than any other form. The air quotes were that two people simulating sex for a dance recital is considered artistic in a way that an oil painting used in C0nc0rdance's video isn't artistic - only as a form of reference. You will note that I said outright C0nc0rdance had, among other things, an artistic representation in his video; I was pointing out YT's inconsistency on what constitutes 'real' art.
@conferencereport indeed. I could have perhaps used a device less ambiguous than the quotes, but I was in a hurry to get that up. But yeah, it's all silly.
its typical of youtube. you never know whats safe and whats not. its always amazing how much hate speech and video, is allowed yet other harmless stuff is removed. youtube 'circumnavigates' common sense.
I don't know what standards they use for taking something down, but if the standards are enforced inconsistently, it could be workload. He mentions here other videos that are more graphic and were not removed. Most likely the powers that be don't know about them. Seventeen hours of video are uploaded every minute so keeping on top of them all is impossible. If no one who stumbles upon the video sees reason to complain, nothing will happen.
@aperson22222 watch the videos I reference; they've all been flagged and reviewed by youtube. They each come with an age restriction and warning. The videos I used are in graphic, up close, personal and detailed. C0nc0rdance's video is less graphic than these, and possessed of quite a bit of scholarship. I have no clue why his video isn't at least as acceptable as the ones I link to.
From what I have seen YouTube isn't set up to review videos. They just take things down if there are complaints. I doubt the "reviewers" have a basic understanding of English let alone the education to review a video. This for better or worse is YouTube's business model.
@Sinnessa So what in video would have caused a pro-circumcision fanboy to object enough to flag it? The video's position seemed to be that while he disagreed with the practice, it's a complex issue and parents should have the right to decide. My reading was that because he slammed the anti-circumcision commenters, they really didn't like it. Every one of his complaints was against typical anti-circumcision arguments you hear again and again.
Google have near enough have made YT a place for stupid shitty music,ADVERTISING,and almost pro youtubers..its not the place i joined for fun years ago..im gonna switch to Twitvid !
@DLandonCole I don't know about that. By my reckoning, it seems to have run a bit longer than when I gave birth to it. Must be the extra gravity from the stellar syzygy of later this year having an unforeseen consequence or something.
@DimmedDiamond basically circumcision had very little actual benifit to the penis. there are some but not to such an extent that it compensates for the actual health risks.

Very strange, I missed this one but have found his work nothing less than well produced honest and informative.
This to me speaks more about Youtube politics than Concordances integrity.
I will be watchig for further info on this.

Concordance doesn't revenue share. The video was getting close to 100,000 views.

@TheTruePooka Interesting fact. Do you have other info that could support this as a possible reason it was taken down? (Not sarcasm).

@CATMAHAT No. Just that I've seem large channels do & say the exact same things smaller channels do and the smaller channel gets punished for it.
I'm not saying similar, I'm saying mimicking what they do.

@beechgrovejoe Dunno. Ask the people who flagged it.
