well it really depends on the nationality. Salvadorians generally are heavily polarized. but i think there would be a resugence in tax revenues and also higher wages for lower skilled workers. currently they have been driven down because of illegal workers. inflation costs will occur but not in that great of percentage. and perhaps people on the higher end might have to be more responsible and not take such extreme salaries. im not saying they should be controlled but i think they should reevaluate how much they should receive and how much should be reinvested to the company.
tax revenue could really help our state right now but the problem is the spending dems. They just don't want to give up certain programs and would prefer us to pay 12 cents extra per gallon which is ridiculous any more inflation in California is not something I am for. As for putting a cap on CEO salaries I am kind of on the fence on that. I don't think the govt. should dictate to a private corp how much their CEOs makes, but it should crack down on predatory practices.

If we legalize marijuana alone we can seriously damage their industry, but I think that that is fundamentally unfair to an ecstasy or cocaine user to have to face federal penalties that a marijuana user wouldn't. The federal govt needs to get out of the substance regulation game.

Mexico will soon fall because of the cartels. Very recently they have been instigating massive protests. A large portion of Mexico's GDP is sent in from workers in the US and Mexico is suffering. The corruption and violence from the drug trade has saturated even the very highest levels of government. We will essentially force it to self-implode.

The ones that vote dems are the ones who lived the war the ones who like Republicans are the ones that fled in the 60s or 50s (financial migrants). ive experienced a lot of democratic seeding where i live. they pander to these groups and say that they will help them. very few actualy go over to the republicans. i know that my fiance's family is nwo republican because they becamed informed. they are a mix of salvadorians and mexicans that came over legaly. it might be differnet in other states but i can tell you that the reason they swung democrat in the last 20 years isnt because of hollywood it is because of the latino vote.

Boyle Heights, my hometown, in East LA used to be conservative Jewish and a Republican bastion back then. You have to remember Bush and McCain who are very pro- illegal immigration. Bush got 40% or so of the Latino vote (among them Cubans who can't be categorized as illegals) but they defined the election for the Republican party. I think the tipping point for most Latinos was Sensenbrenner's bill. I have a neutral position on illegal immigration but it turned latinos against republicans. I've been against them for purely economic and foreign policy issues

but i think there would be a resugence in tax revenues and also higher wages for lower skilled workers. currently they have been driven down because of illegal workers. inflation costs will occur but not in that great of percentage. and perhaps people on the higher end might have to be more responsible and not take such extreme salaries. im not saying they should be controlled but i think they should reevaluate how much they should receive and how much should be reinvested to the company.

They just don't want to give up certain programs and would prefer us to pay 12 cents extra per gallon which is ridiculous any more inflation in California is not something I am for. As for putting a cap on CEO salaries I am kind of on the fence on that. I don't think the govt. should dictate to a private corp how much their CEOs makes, but it should crack down on predatory practices.

wedo need to shrink the government in the state. we need to also cut the salaries in federal and state jobs that do not warrant such high payments. unions also need to be hauled in. we cant keep paying state workers more than college grads for being an administrative assistant( a cofee fetcher). also we need to cut back on the number of departments and cut out unnecessary middle men.

Actually supply did decrease during prohibition. Prohibition acts like an infinite price floor which causes a black market to emerge. However, because of the cost associated with increased risk, money laundering, and cautionary transportation and growth, the current black market does not reflect the market that would exist if prohibition was lifted. The truth is use would drastically increase if it was legalized and price would decrease. Because it is a weed, taxes would be ineffective
