  • @GWOSAPAT

Emphasize insanity? I believe it says, "...brought Fischer's sanity into question". Pay attention if your going to comment!

  • @mattsimon77 Why don't you just come out and say you thought he was crazy, instead of trying to point out what you think is an error in my statement? Isn't true the timeline is off? Who questioned his insanity? Only does who disagree with him in the first place.

  • Very nicely made infographic, well done.

  • I can't believe what Jews do on the 8th day to a newborn.

  • As far as Fischer's % of Jewish parentage, I stand by what I have posted. If you wish to perform DNA analysis to determine his exact _genetic_ % of Jewishness (whatever that means), contact the Iceland authorities for permission to exhume.

I also stand firmly by my view that Fischer's bigotry was vile, repulsive and saddening, plus a tragedy for chess. If this makes me a "know-it-all" so be it.

As for "dissing," that began here with wnxsilence's comment about "American pigs."

  • good for you, stand by your blatant falsifications...

  • i agree with wxnsilence

  • Some of what you say may be true. He was a genius when it comes to chess, but he was very Anti-semetic. Calling the USA "a farce controlled by dirty, hook-nosed, circumcised Jew bastards." Wanting them to "arrest all the Jews." He even praised the Sept 11 attacks the day after it happened, calling it wonderful news. How is any of that not Anti-Semetic or Anti-American?

  • Fischer was a good man, and a true genius. I as a Russian hold great respect for him. His ingrained logic from Chess, helped him perceive international politics and understand the truth....for this he is hated by the American pigs.

  • This is a biased video with many factual inaccuracies, for years the West has tried to paint Fischer as a anti-American/anti-semetic madman, for his critisisms of U.S agresion & murder world wide

...Contrary to Western propaganda, Fischer was a completely reasoning, and rational individual to the day he died. He was anti-Zionist, NOT anti-semetic...he himself his half Jewish, he was simply against the atrocities the Israelies are commiting against Palestinians.

  • What nonsense. The post-1975 Fischer was a sick man, destroyed by inner demons, his irrational hates, fears and paranoia. He hated Jews indiscriminately, not to mention blacks. He believed trash such as The Protocols of the Elders of Zion.

I admire his chess unreservedly, but his descent into vile bigotry is one of the saddest and most repulsive episodes in chess history.

BTW, speaking of "factual inaccuracies," Fischer was born 100% Jewish. I suspect you are not well informed on him.

  • Ethnically speaking, very few (if any) people today are 100% anything. So what?

And as should have been obvious to you, by "100%" I was referring to the fact that both of Fischer's parents, his mother Regina and his father Paul Nemenyi, were Jewish.

  • My meaning was obvious to everyone except the pointlessly pedantic and the deliberately obtuse.

  • HA! I was only being pedantic to point out your factual inaccuracy since you seem to be a "Mr. Know It All" by dissing my buddy ~wnxsilence~ So maybe not everyone has kept up to date with current knowledge of who Bobby's real father might have been and they still go by the old story that he was half-Jewish. It doesn't mean you have to replace a factual inaccuracy with another factual inaccuracy and act like you're so well informed.
