I was surprised to hear how sloppy the overdubs sound in all of these Ozzy isolated tracks. As always, it is a joyous occasion to listen to Randy's playing. Effin' awesome.
this must be from the 2002 remix where they replace the keyboard and bass..that is not the original keyboard sound...this one sounded like shit..hate when artists fuck with the original recordings or movies...
@cyborgar15 dumbass, first this is only half the keyboard, the other part wasnt put into the video, second off, they didnt replace the keyboard and bass, they replaced the drums and bass, third, blizzard of ozzy was never replaced, only diary, because the whole money dispute with osbourne against lee and bob didnt happen until the end of diary and ozzy got pissed and didnt credit them so later he added diferent mucisions into replace them so he wouldnt get sued, get your facts straight
it's a mix. not likely the engineer would have punched solos onto the rhythm track and lost the ability to control the volume, and besides, didn't anyone notice this is a stereo mix? there are two tracks panned hard right and left, as in 'doubled'...two separate takes where the artist plays an identical (mostly) take to the first to fill out the sound. so there are at least three takes used to make this all-guitar mix besides the synth intro.
@sonicdx36 It could be original. Back in the analog days they have very limited amounts of tracks to use. Especially when the album is low budget (like Blizzard of Ozz). Sometimes they had to share tracks. So sometimes guitars go on vocals track when there's no vocals, or keyboards on guitar tracks. Listen to Bohemian Rhapsody's master tracks. Theres vocals on all 24 (48?) tracks. Just when there's no guitars or drums playing there's vocals.
