It's shows like Rizzoli & Isles that blow similar shows...like the new (and awful) Charlie's Angels away. Had these two been paired up with a third actress, they would have made a great new team of Charlie's Angels. These gals are sexy, smart, funny, quirky, charismatic, flawed, and real. Their chemistry and banter between eachother are what make the show work. The plots? Eh, they're fine too. But it's the chemistry that make them worth watching a la Sherlock & Watson.

Great show, but whoever's writing the dialogue for Jane has got to layoff of the following lines which are becoming extremely repetitive and tedious: "really?", "seriously?". I mean, come on! Saying "seriously?" multiple times per episode is NOT good writing. Other than that, great show!

I love this show! It is my favorite show...probably of all time! I love it how these two women are working together on Rizzoli & Isles to find out the suspect of a crime and I REALLY love it how they are really good friends in real life. It is amazing because a bunch of others would go bashing their girl co star if they were a girl and yet they dont! I am not lesibian but I think they are both very gorgeous =)

And I wish that in shows like this, whether the leads be men or women or both that people would stop reading into things so much. It doesn't always need to be about romance. If I'd wanted that I'd be watching One Tree Hill or some other mushy bullshit. People can be just great friends. If they were going to get together, with everything the pair have been through with each other - it already would have happened.

@jaivomi That whole watching One Tree Hill/mushy bullshit instead idea would be great, if it wasn't for the complete lack of of decent lesbian storylines on ANY of those kind of shows. I agree with you that they probably won't end up together, it'll be a total Xena situation, but what harm is it doing for people to have fun and speculate about it? People are desperate for that kind of romance, played well, between two women, and this is the closest thing there is. Just let people have their fun.

@briemillman I didn't mean to offend. Don't get me wrong I agree with you. There aren't enough shows that feature positive lesbian storylines. But for this show, I love their friendship. There is no doubt that the best thing about the show is their on screen chemistry (obviously helped by the fact that they ARE friends in real life). Everyones entitled to their opinion of course but this is one of those instances where romance would ruin a show. Just like on SVU, with Liv/Elliot.

They should be ecstatic that so many people are saying the show is gay. I mean, just look at them! I'm sure they get half of their ratings from all the dedicated lesbians out there who are just trying to find a show that reflects them (which is far and few), even if these characters aren't claiming to be lesbians...I hope the Network takes advantage of this in later seasons.
