my coppers have a harshness and dont seem to fit your desciption, my sister got a pair and i'll have to try them because i'm worried mine are defective or something i'm not happy with them at all

I choice the sennheiser IE8 instead of those was because of comfort and the ability to change cable. I believe anything above $200 should have a exchangeable cable.

I also picked these headphones up from future shop during their boxing day sale. So far I think they sound great, but unfortunately I needed a workaround to get the results I wanted. I was having a hard time getting a really good seal with any of the provided ear tips. As a result I felt like I was missing out on the bass I like from my music. (I listen to a lot of electronic stuff) The solution for me was to put on the tips from a much much much less expensive pair of skull candy headphones. T

@Truton235 Gold. But copper is the best, I recently got a pair of coppers along with gold. Gold has heavier bass but is way more muddier compared to the crisp sound of the coppers..

Ahh, excellent review! You answered all the questions that were burning inside my head. Especially hit the nail with the Control Talk function - I suppose they had to stick with the plastic material to prevent dragging down the buds, but I wish they even made it aesthetically different. Despite the muddiness created by the bass, I'm gonna stick to my Solo's for the hip hop tracks. More booty-shakin-inducing. But can tell these babies are goin in my ears for everything else (Thanks, Future Shop!)

@masteruploader1998 sounds like its from futureshop. really depends if you care about your quality of music. I'm sorta an audiophile so this is definitely for me. if you do care, for $95 its VERY cheap. the bass is very good (if you like bassy music).

If you are on a budget go for the regular Turbines, those are still much better than other Beats By Dre In-Ears like Tours or iBeats, Diddybeats and so on....

I'm just starting to move up in headphone price from USD 46 to something more expensive than USD 190. Since the pearls were half the price of the coppers I was thinking of opting for them, but I'm not so sure now. Which should I choose? Does the extra price on the coppers really make that much of a difference?
