Shenmue has a game in development right now, it's called Shenmue Online. As for the other games I didnt put in there, I put the games in the vid that I could think of! I could only put sooooooo many games in a 4:20 sequence and not make them tiny little bits of footage you have barely have time to see.

Ok, from the sound of it, the message I'm trying to tell is ether: A) I'm telling it to you in a bad way. Or B) you dont quite understand. The message is that these series need more 2D games games i.e. Super Metroid, and Sonic (System Shock just needs a another sequel to rap up the cliff hanger).

They've already made about a million Sonic games and most of them are god awful 3D affairs. (I sided with Mario but the original Genesis Sonic games were really damn tight). They've also made Ecco 2 and sequels to Double Dragon (DD3 was reviewed by AVGN) and Mike Tyson's Punch-Out. All three sequels were ass. But you're dead on for the most part. Where in THE HELL is Starcraft II?

I hate that damn blue background. Everybody always uses it! Aside from that though the video is very awesome and I agree with alot of it, in particular that there should be a new 2D Sonic game instead of this garbage 3D crap that has been coming out lately.

Most of those games either have sequils, don't need them (a new game would just spoil them), or are a continuing series (I'm looking at you, Metroid!)

This assortment of games is pretty crappy. Some of them do deserve sequels, but quite a few on here have had more than enough sequels in both 3d and 2d (metriod needs another sequel in 2d or 3d? just asn an example).

I think you're wrong, the industry doesn't need to dry-hump old classics, they need to get some damn innovation and create new heroes for a new generation.

I totally agree with the sequel on Starcraft. One of my favorites and we only got an expansion out of it. I hope Blizzard is workin on fixing the game "Ghost" for the consoles.
