If you are a person who dont mind reading and can take the time to learn you Will be able to work it out.
you need are wideband sensor, tweecer or quarterhorse, and the software. I myself have have did several conversion and it takes time.
once you have these things you Install the tweecer to the ecm j3 port than install the software with set com port. Next you will need to have the wideband install and plug into the system. Start with scalers move to funtions and end with tables.
I want to tune my 91 GT. How does this work? Do I buy a chip for my ECM and run software off of a laptop in the car? How difficult is it to use? I am debating on converting to carb if I can't figure out how to tune the EFI. I would like to get some simple hardware/software and do it myself and be done with it. I am not going to pay a shop several hundred dollars to tune the car.
I was wondering if you still use TwEECer I just got mine and installed it, and am trying to datalog aswell. Wondering if I can hit you up VIA email about it.
Hey. When you tune your car with tweecer, dose your computor need to stay in the car for it to hold the tune or can you take it out and it still be retuned?
