Yeah, how's this one working out for you? He's worse than the previous one. He's also as much of a war-monger if not more so. What a fraud the 2-party system is.
@TheBoneman76 "Yeah, how's this one working out for you?"
Well. Not perfect, of course.
"He's worse than the previous one."
Nonsense.
"He's also as much of a war-monger if not more so."
That must be why he's bringing the wars in Iraq & Afghanistan to an end, why he put the U.S. in a secondary role in the Libyan conflict, and has tended to look to diplomacy rather than military force on the international stage. That's how a warmonger behaves, isn't it? Oh, wait. It's not!
@ProfMTH BTW, before I respond (and thank you for responding), I do enjoy your videos on the bible. They are very well done. Now, as for ending the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.... There is no "conflict" in Iraq, just an occupation, and Afghanistan is a total disaster. The withdrawl from Iraq is a hoax because at least 5000 or more troops will be left behind along with all the private contractors to maintain the occupation and gear-up for wars with Syria and Iran.
@ProfMTH Then there are all the conflicts they are going to start in African nations. BTW, what diplomacy are you talking about?? This dude didn't even go before congress before involvement in Lybia or sending troops to Uganda. Nor will he when they begin attacking Syria and ultimately Iran (likely following Israel's lead). At least, as bad a Bush was, he went before congress before the Iraq war. Don't get me wrong, you won't get anything different from Hillary, Perry, Romney, Cain, etc.
@TheBoneman76 "There is no 'conflict' in Iraq, just an occupation, and Afghanistan is a total disaster."
I agree that Afghanistan is a disaster. That doesn't change the fact the President Obama is bringing American combat operations in that country to a close. As for Iraq, call it what you like, but the President is winding it down.
On what basis are your claiming that the United States is preparing to go to war against Syria and Iran?
@ProfMTH He's not bringing combat operations in Afghanistan to a close. Not even by a long-shot. As for war in Syria and Iran, have you been paying attention, even to the mainstream media lately? Even they are running stories about it. It's always been "in the cards." I could post 20+ links to news sources showing the build-up. You don't recognize the "nuclear threat" rhetoric that is similar to the garbage excuses to go into Iraq?
if it weren't for the war, there'd have been nothing to complain about re the Bush administration. Spending would have been less, social unrest wouldn't have been a siginificant factor and unemployment was significantly lower than it is now.
Face it... Obama is an incompetent boob who has run us into near default, has no clue on foreign affairs and is so radical he cannot 'bring people together' as he promised. Obama is a FAILURE.
dont be a hater obama will win again, your country redneck states won't have enough electoral votes so it wouldn't really matter if they vote republican, btw "nigger" what century are you living in?
@ccijiss "UNDER BUSH: 7 OUT OF 8 RECORD GROWTH YEARS." You say that when we had a recession in 2001, which I'll admit wasn't Bush's fault but 2001 was Bush's first year, and we went into a recession in '07 and went into an economic meltdown in '08, and remeber that while the economy in 2003 was out of recession, unemployment was still at 6.5% that year. The only two presidents of the last 30 years to have record growth were Reagan and Clinton and with Reagan things got worse before better.
@mr19932001 I never said you did, just I do get insults thrown at me when I comment on American issues. As for record growth, I'll accept that he did, but if that growth is caused by using credit, then it will in the long term damage an economy by causing boom & bust cycles.
@Nilsy1975 Reagan never caused the prosperity, what I ment was he presided over prosperity. Paul Volker, who was chairman of the federal reserve, lowered inflation and got the economy going. Look at what happened less a year after he left office. We went into recession, and Bush Sr. worrsened it, which was what gave us Clinton, who along with some help of the dot.com boom, got the economy going again with a balanced budget, a surplus, and lowest unemployment in 30 years.

I'm a staunch democrat. Internationally Labor-liberal parties are in red, Tory-conservative parties are in blue. My comment had to do with that, not actually commenting on the nature of either party.
Ya, me too! It's amazing how Obama has been used up so fast! His one term presidency will reflect a broken beyond repair out of control government. Obama's time in office was carefully orchestrated. He only read off the telepromter. Our elected officials are like a pack of jackels, drooling and snarling hungry for power and money. The news media is controlled by the special intrests. i love that word infrastructure spending because no one really talked about it and that alone will create jobs because u need ppl to build new bridges and subways with these new jobs u can have taxes that will stimulate the economy
Bush needs to be charged, tried, and sentenced for: violating his oath of office invading a non-combatant sovereign nation genocide instituting the doctrine of pre-emptive war lying to the American people war crimes making torture official American policy abandoning the flood victims in New Orleans discarding habeas corpus illegally spying on Americans creating a police state via Homeland Security... He has brought the USA into disrepute around the world and very nearly destroyed America.

LOL Boo-hoo a competent, compassionate, intelligent, articulate black man (who actually knows enough about the Constitution to have been a constitutional law professor!) is president, instead of George W. Bush, the most unpopular president in the history of approval rate polling.
Judging from the multiple comments you've posted over a series of days, Gootenslog, it seems you've developed an obsession with this video. I'm going to help you out with that. :-)
I wish all the best for Obama but things will not change. We have a two party system and it ran it's course. Rome fell and I think we are also on our way out. Fnarf I hope I'm wrong. Peace.
The extent of what your forefathers achieved after the civil war is something I've only recently come across. Astounding. A testament to the power of the human mind. However, in those days they had a gold-standard backed dollar, MUCH lower taxes and a freedom to create, employ and trade that's in a different league to what's anywhere today. Mind you, now we have a far more technologically advanced society and a knowledge-based workforce. We'll just have to wait and see!
What is wrong with some GOP (GOP-leaning)people feeling so insecure (their comments indicate so)about Barack?? Don't be ridiculous--your guy (Bush), after all, has damaged everything.
Clinton left the USA in FAR better shape for GWB than GWB is leaving the USA for Obama. It may be impossible to undo the damage GWB has done to the USA and the world.
Clinton had no more to do with the sort-of prosperity of the 90's (that was the Republican congress) than Bush with this decade. The Arabs destroyed the WORLD TRADE CENTER. WHat the fuck was supposed to happen? And it was democrats that gave us the housing crisis.
Bush's answer to the WTC destruction - perpertrated by Saudis - was to walk hand in hand in the Whitehouse Rose Garden with a Saudi Prince....Bush slapped you in the face with that antic. The only thing he didn't do was to give that fuck a hand job. That's the security you were lookng for? The borders are wide open today and at the Canada/USA crossing they have an HONOUR SYSTEM at one check point! Dude, Saudi Arabia wanted to slap Bush in the face and eat shit...they won.
bush is not gone yet ! he can still start another war false flag the world with say a nuke , invite obama to some remote place and ??? blame a white race dude all in the name of OIL and WAR
Two things. First, I'm not aware of anyone declaring that racism is dead and gone. Second, the South has been voting Republican even when the Democratic Party had white candidates for president. While I have no doubt that there are racists in the South -- as there are in every location -- the fact that Barack Obama carried some previously red states indicates to me that progress has been made vis-a-vis racial issues in the United States.
people are often hard on those in the south. Yet per capita those of us in the SOUTH are the ones who most strongly fight for the rights and liberties of the mentally handicapped. I mean look what we did for George Bush. Not to mention our Religious Right!!
Dave! It can't get any worst than it's already is. It's going to take some hard work for Obama to get things back in tact. We don't need people like you judging him before he can get in office. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE INAURGURATION.
i honestly thought mccain was going to win on a rigged election...and then die of a heart attack, then it would be the first woman president. but im very glad Obama won
very troubling times lie ahead for America .I hope Obama is the right man, you all seem to think he is , yet he has not done or said much to presume such admiration.
but we shall soon see if he is another NAZI or a great American
give the man a break he's not even president yet give the man some time he hasnt even finished seeing who will be in his adminstration you douche bag... seriously... go get a hobbie or something and stop bashing the new president
If you pause at :22, I find it interesting. Obama won basically the northern/outer states (more progressive/less Christian/less backwoods etc). McCain won the Bible belt and midwest. Just this one pic alone says more than you could say in 2000 words!
The front page story in my hometown newspaper was about right-wingnuts making a run on the gun stores to buy handguns and assault rifles. I find that very disturbing.
I know. Being Canadian I used to talk with my American friends and jokingly say they ought to move to Canada to avoid Bush. Now the situation may be reversed. I can't believe my country doomed itself to more years of Harper... :(
It's 'cause Dion's a very uncharismatic politician - same reason John Kerry lost to Bush here in America. If y'all can get a really charismatic leader on the Liberal side again, I predict a landslide.
Obama will not repeal a single thing in fact he is the one chosen to break up America.
he will set down Martial law round up the guns and preside over the food riots that are coming. and in 2010 he will have you swept up and into the North American Union.
under Canadian laws. I know this to be the truth and you will soon know it too.
ok see, this post has a much different attitude than the other. In this post you were making it seem more like you are just unsure of him, but in the other you sounded like you were certain he would ruin things "in fact he is the one chosen to break up America." that's what you said. I was replying to that. If you are only unsure of him I can understand that as he IS only one man and not a miracle worker.... how 'bout we just wait and see what happens?
dave, hello dave, come in dave, this is the mother ship. it is time for you to stop smoking crack, take off the tinfoil hat that is protecting your brain from the rays being beamed at you be the tv and return to the mother ship.

If we can become the greatest Nation on Earth after having a civil war anything is possible.
mrscorie 3 years ago
The extent of what your forefathers achieved after the civil war is something I've only recently come across. Astounding. A testament to the power of the human mind. However, in those days they had a gold-standard backed dollar, MUCH lower taxes and a freedom to create, employ and trade that's in a different league to what's anywhere today. Mind you, now we have a far more technologically advanced society and a knowledge-based workforce. We'll just have to wait and see!

Clinton left the USA in FAR better shape for GWB than GWB is leaving the USA for Obama. It may be impossible to undo the damage GWB has done to the USA and the world.
Greenandscaly 3 years ago
Here's a lesson in gov't for you:
Clinton had no more to do with the sort-of prosperity of the 90's (that was the Republican congress) than Bush with this decade. The Arabs destroyed the WORLD TRADE CENTER. WHat the fuck was supposed to happen? And it was democrats that gave us the housing crisis.

Arabs?
I remeber a terrorist attack on 9/11 at the world trade center.
But it was for sure not ARABS

Bush's answer to the WTC destruction - perpertrated by Saudis - was to walk hand in hand in the Whitehouse Rose Garden with a Saudi Prince....Bush slapped you in the face with that antic. The only thing he didn't do was to give that fuck a hand job. That's the security you were lookng for? The borders are wide open today and at the Canada/USA crossing they have an HONOUR SYSTEM at one check point! Dude, Saudi Arabia wanted to slap Bush in the face and eat shit...they won.

It's still racism some states stay red mainly in the south so who ever says racism has ended it reaily hasn't.
beverlycromwell4 3 years ago
ProfMTH 3 years ago
people are often hard on those in the south. Yet per capita those of us in the SOUTH are the ones who most strongly fight for the rights and liberties of the mentally handicapped. I mean look what we did for George Bush. Not to mention our Religious Right!!

Yes the religious right to force it on everyone...

If you pause at :22, I find it interesting. Obama won basically the northern/outer states (more progressive/less Christian/less backwoods etc). McCain won the Bible belt and midwest. Just this one pic alone says more than you could say in 2000 words!

Actually, Obama carried most of the Midwest.

It's 'cause Dion's a very uncharismatic politician - same reason John Kerry lost to Bush here in America. If y'all can get a really charismatic leader on the Liberal side again, I predict a landslide.
Filby 3 years ago
You're completely right. The liberals need to get hip again like back in the Trudeau days.

Obama will not repeal a single thing in fact he is the one chosen to break up America.
he will set down Martial law round up the guns and preside over the food riots that are coming. and in 2010 he will have you swept up and into the North American Union.
under Canadian laws. I know this to be the truth and you will soon know it too.

so let me get this straight, you're telling me that Barrack Obama is going to be a bad president because you think he wants to invade Pakistan?
Yzoden 3 years ago
I didnt say bad ,I said he is but one man
and the troubles in America is insurmountable
so do not hope for too much
if he gives a little relief and repeals
all of the Gestapo laws Bush passed it will be a great presidency .Considering the troubles facing the nation.
but should he not move quickly to repeal those laws he will be faced with a great nations wrath.
and the black people will be the first to stand up I hope
dave777blaster 3 years ago
yes, the troubles in america are insurmountable as you said.
That begs an obvious question though...
Who got us in this mess in the first place?
Bush didnt do much to win our admiration either other than the first few months after 9/11.
oneak 3 years ago
ok see, this post has a much different attitude than the other.
