To a brave soul, I want to say I admire you for your resolve, I am older now so when I was young there was no acceptance at all not to mention trans services, I congratulate your geneeration.
Who, of us two, acts more like a man? I'd say the one using prejudiced insults and making death threats. You are a shame to the trans community as a whole.
Wisdom beyond your years.Reality is the truth of the moment. You can't change the past but you can influence the future at this moment,an omen within the mount.
You stand today where your choices have taken you, you'll be tomorrow from the choices you make today. Happiness is based on expectation and in the case of transition it will be on who you are trying to become. Who is the woman who portrays that? Once you know who, you have the destination for your dream. Speak slower,
You have empathized with the fears of a lot of transsexuals with transition. I think that transition also means different things to different people. Some consider social transition sufficient. Some consider passing as the most essential portion of that social transition. Some are very happy after a few years of HRT, with no surgery. Some talk about SRS as an important end to transition. It really depends. So we should not belittle some of their fears. Each person's situation is different.
your face was beautiful before. It is beautiful now. It is different from the way it was but I cannot say for certain that it is more beautiful than before. Kind of like transforming an orchid into a rose.
I think your going to look great when the swelling goes down. What an unbelievable change! Yea you need to work on your voice, but can tell that part of it is because of your surgery/pain.
Your videos are superb, because they are intelligent and informative. Would you believe there is age-predjudice even among transpeople like us? I'm literally twice your age. I begin HRT in just over a month and will lose of wife of 20+ years. When I was your age, transition was INFINITELY harder than it is now. You faced being beaten and even killed back then. How I wish I could have transitioned at your age.
You're passing wonderfully well. Secret to passing?
Holy crap... I'll be doing FFS soon too. This is so inspiring. You're certainly more feminine-featured now, way more passable. What's "passable" really - you ARE girl-looking, plain and simple. Nice job :D
hi there. I have been following your vlogs for awhile now - I am interested in different medical procedures and became facsinated with your journey. I admire not only the bravery of your transition, but how you seem to learn and grow with each day. Perhaps it is a lifelong journey? but look at the benefit of each new day during transition,,,,,,,,,I know it can't be easy, but your intellect is providing a wonderful approach to the experience
I so admire your honesty and strength. I think your vlogs can help many trans out there who are still struggling with their own feelings. Thank you for your open and thoughtful posts. Also, you are looking more beautiful each time. I think you will ultimately get that "sexy" look you had originally wanted.
if the swelling in the cheeks doesnt subside, he put too much cheeks in and it looks unnatural. there are many girls who doesnt have a lot of cheeks and still look very feminine. the plumpiness of ur cheeks are too much in the mid section. the cheeks you gained from hrt was perfect. everything else about the ffs is perfect.
.........Regarding your eyebrows & not being able to pluck them, try those little black shavers, that are about 1/4 an inch wide, at Wal-Mart and trim off the extra hairs until you know exactly what you will end up with and then pluck them. Your hair will grow back in by the time you want to be plucking them. I use one and my brows grow back in a matter of weeks and then I shave them in a different shape. Stay pretty and visit me and other girls on Pink Essence....Laura Jane Walker
Hi, Tranngirl15.........You are becoming very beautiful, even more so than your gorgeous make-up video result. The FFS was great for you, even though you are looking like another person. There is a lot of good stuff in your Fear of Transition video and I am sharing it with all my friends on Pink Essence, which is a site that you should join......
I totally agree that your happiness should NOT be linked to the issue of passing or not. I think that when people realize that they become sooooo much confident and their true light shines through. Kudos for that comment. 1:53
I felt traumatized seeing what you've been through, so I can't imagine how it feels for you to go through it. Is medical marijuana an option in your state? MJ is lots better than the pain smack you're on. Your face is looking less swollen. The interesting thing is that I thought you were fine the way you were, but I'm really interested to see when the swelling is gone. I wish you luck.
Excellent topic! Fear is a good thing. I believe it really depends on the person. When I was in my early 20s I went out in drag (MTF) and based on that experience was convinced that I would be accepted as the female I am. Once I left the U.S. Air Force and moved to San Francisco, nothing could have stopped me from my ultimate transition. That was more than 30 years ago. A TS transition has to accommodate the individual. It's never ever easy. And some people think we do this for fun! Hah!
As I was 18 some other transsexuals told me i would never pass. Nevertheless I started to take hormones, without living as a girl. After 7 weeks they throw me out of the mens room. It was really unexpected. Maybe too fast for me, because I didn't finished school yet. Today I almost get to much attention as a girl. But in general I'm feeling good with it. The biggest problem is that many worry too much how to play their role as a female. Be yourself, that is much better than playing a role.
For Sleeping problems, the drug you just described seems like exactly what I take for sleep, TRAZADONE. By the way, you look like a TOTALLY different person now. (in a good way)
As you've found, Max, strength truly does come from inside. Sometimes circumstance can accelerate or delay this strength manifesting itself, but you are truly the only person who can give yourself enough strength to be happy or to make yourself happy in whatever way is necessary. This is an excellent lesson, and I think you're wonderful to keep trying to teach us how to just live, and keep on living.
You're also looking so wonderful without the bandages, stay happy!
Much of the fear comes from unpredictability on a massive scale, not knowing for certain how everyone you know/meet will react. All those variables add up to the very real possibility that everything will change, possibly for the "perceived" worse. How many people ever have to face such change? Very few.
Yet, even if the "worst" happens & massive change occurs it still only means that a false life is traded for an honest one & that's invaluable.
Seems you have your head together. Many of the examples you touch on are true, at least with my experiences, and I have a friend in her early fifties that transitioned a few years ago, her kids are married & the wife is still with her. Me, the wife fled, no kids, no money, no SRS...Get an education is first, without it you end up like me...never to get a promotion...To live day by day. Good Luck ,You look great. oxoxox
In my case, I knew as early as 8, told my family at 12 ("it's just a phase"), told them again at 16 ("what did we do wrong"), and then again at 22. But by then I had become part of the team necessary to get money to our household. Would I have wanted to start earlier? Yes. Do I repent my choice to wait? No. I got more time to demonstrate I'm decided about it. Mom knows, she doesn't share it but kinda respects my decision. I just want to postpone it to transition on my own terms. :D
Mybe if you have a fear of transitioning you could like you said learn more about it and become an expert so when the time comes you can act but in the mean time be a suporter to the Tg community this could be done by just speaking well of known transgendered people
Although there's still a bit of swelling, I can tell that the surgery went well. Congrats!!!!! Of course, you still look like yourself, but they did an excellent job on the FFS.
