I never really even payed that much attention to the World Cup or soccer for that matter until this year. Im glad to see so many others started to watch it and enjoy it as well as I. I think the reason why most Americans watched it THIS time is cuz NOBODY expected the USA to get as far as it did so thats why the spike in interest this year. But for me personally, its the fact that I could pay for a ticket or watch on TV, watch it for 90+ minutes and theres a good chance it might end up 0-0. I don't think theres any sport in the US that would keep it that way, there is always a winner and loser....Just my 2 cents.
