The most socially inept person is an actor behind a microphone. These people are incredibly overpaid and their list of "talent" skills is very short. Many of them have never even graduated high school, so in order to compensate for their personal inadequacies they gather up a safe, bobblehead audience and basically preach to the choir. No "scary" venues where they may have to justify their comments. Typical liberal mantra because only the "meanies" are going to disagree with you.

Dogs and cats can also be adults and that would technically make them consenting adults.
FYI, consent is not a human invention, other aniamls can use non-verbal communication to give non-verbal consent. For example, dogs and cats normally gives non-verbal consent to be petted, though some dogs and cats will not give consent to that and they will bite, bark, move away, claw, hiss, etc, to express they aren't consent, those signs can be translated to human language as a "DON'T TOUCH ME"

Prop 8 makes good sense in that it protects the right of marriage and FAMILY meaning responsibility of taking care of a CHILD, fair. When you say it's okay to protect gay couples with a CHILD, who is clearly not belonging to the GAY couple, then it is giving incentive to ALLOW unprotected teenage sex to run RAMPANT because there will be a gay family willing to accept that child. What we SHOULD DO is provide incentive for young STRAIGHT couples to NOT ABORT their baby,providing a STIPEND to them.

This is not about marriage equality. Most people who support that notion actually do not support marriages with multiple spouses (like polygamy), and consenting adult brother/sister marriages. So much for "equality for all"!

is it any different when the religious tell me that im a loss soul? that they will prey for me? that jesus is truth and i havnt found the truth? isnt that talking down to me? isnt that condescending? and i dont have all the answers, but im not going to take the easy way to explain my existence. i want people to doubt what they believe, not fully believe in it. question it constantly thats how you stay intellectually honest. thats what i do, i question everything i believe all day everyday.

And saying I believe in God is not the end of my intellectual journey. I challenge that belief everyday, its how I came to leave the Roman Catholic church. But just because religion got it wrong does not mean God is a lie. But I am tired and sick, so lets do what the Muslim religion says to do when at a stalemate and say "Agree to disagree".
