  • that is not solberg

    that is mikko hirvonen!

  • SUBORGY!

  • thumbs up if u think they should bring back subaru

  • Legends walk on gold

  • 1:28 some one explain whats going on under there...

  • Petter Solberg is a legend

  • I feel pretty sad Subaru had to pull out :(....that 2006 STi hawk eye model surely kicked ass visually and performance wise

  • @ 3:38 when he pushed in the clutch pedal, the car spin because he hit the hand brake as well. He had to push in the clutch otherwise pulling the E hard like that and stopping would kill the engine. usually just pushing in the clutch helps you gain traction, not to break traction.

  • @Hougie92

what you said was, witout a doubt, correct. but pushing the clush to often during the rally it's bad for the flywheel and makes you's just use the clutch lose time. so the cluth is used when you start or when you want the car stoped while the motor running.

when about drift the clush is hamered some times to bring the rpm higher and make the car slide, like the burnouts :)

  • and words he says turbin

  • It's a shame how Subaru had to pull out of the WRC.

  • that was sweet

  • 1:28 check out all the wires coming out of that engine!

  • okay :) I'll take a look at it :D

  • why not? is it so hard to say a word like that? :D

  • were those cars automatics? it doesn't make sense to me; I thought that these cars were manuals... it's when he starts driving at 3:06; I know there are three pedals, but it doesn't seem like he is doing any shifting with his hands or anything... I drive stick so I'm not totally dumb here... I think :P so is the car auto or stick

  • its manual, they have the quick shifts at the wheels, im pretty sure atleast

  • its was a sequential gearbox, in a transmission like that you don't need to put the clutch in while up shifting

  • @SammerJammer

     and downshifting....

  • @SammerJammer The SWRT didnt use a sequential gear box. They used a Hydraulic operated H pattern gearbox with a electronically controlled clutch and a toggle switch to engage reverse.

  • mi llamo le fume

  • @SammerJammer Does it work like flappy pedal gear boxes?

  • @Scourgeandmephiles93 On upshifts it does because you can upshift with flat changes. In flappy paddles they rev match downshift for you, in this you would need to rev match AND heel toe downshift yourself

  • The far left pedal was not a clutch, it was the emergency brake, most likely hydraulic. The car has a sequential gearbox that you just move forward or backward.

What Peter said, "WRC is about perfection."

  • its a cluth pedal.. Used for getting started only...

  • Well check out @3:38... it looks like when he engaged the "clutch pedal" the car spun around like pulling the ebrake.

although it does make sense that they have a clutch to get started

  • It's a clutchpedal...Trust me;)

  • hitting the clutch pedal can cause a car to break traction too, I know people do it in drifting all the time

  • This is true.... I never thought of that. I was just questioning what is was, now I know and the rest of the world.

  • Finally a best motoring clip I don't need sub titles for lol. Good vid.

  • subeez are the best... NO fuck shit EVOs

  • lol stfu I hope you realize both cars pretty similar in performance.

  • COOL

  • solberg ftw!

  • damn error's and youtube
