Run an analog Y connector to of your PC's audio port and into the external converter box, then use the External cable in this video to add sound to your video card. This will allow those with a SPDIF connector on the video card and an HDMI port to send video and sound to their HD TV.

I checked out my card and there is no play to plug in SPDIF. Help please.
hello how are you, I have a question that unfortunately nobody has been able to help me, I have a laptop acer aspire 5536 with windows 7 and an HDMI output to connect my TV a few months ago I could connect the TV with the laptop and had had a sound and perfect image, but now only gives picture but no sound comes out, I connected several laptops and works fine but not only mine, I hope you please help me or tell me where I can find help.

i connected the end of cable to the graphic card but the port in which the other end of the cable should go is nt dere on my motherboard. in fact none of d 3 option is available on my motherboard.
so is dere no option to play sound throught my tv in dual view mode??
