@yolor7 It has a porcine snout, tusks, cloven hooves for feet, and a pot belly. The fact that it has clawed hands instead of hooves at the ends of its upper arms does not somehow make all of those features wolf-like. Also, if you actually want to be technical, the game says it's a wereboar and given that were-creatures don't exist someone can have them look however they damn well please in their fictional universe without being any more wrong or right than any other take on them.

@yolor7 Umm no... because 1. there are werewolves in this game, and 2. his feet are clearly hooves. He is a WERE-boar for a reason. Wolves also have paws, so your saying a Werewolf should have his claws replaced with paws? He also has Tusks - which Wolves don't have and Boars do. I really don't see your reasoning.

The problem with going around killing guards and citizens while in Werewolf/Wereboar form, is that you actually lose Reputation with the people. Eventually, your Reputation will get so low with them that they won't even talk to you. It can still say you're a "Common citizen in the eyes of the law", but no citizen will talk to you. Found this out after going in a killing spree on my Werewolf, then looking at my various reputations with DF Hack. The "People of Daggerfall" rep had become negative.

They were more relaxed about wereboars back in olden times. Like the time the queen had three lions come to address her in her palace which coincidently was the same day her partially eaten remains were found in the treasonous princesses room who later that day was found to have committed suicide by strewing her bloody mangled limbs about the gardens.

I think you can get away with murder without losing reputation as long as the "Do you wish to surrender to the guards?" message doesn't come up. I've never had that message come up as a lycanthrope.

@numidium3 If I am not mistaken they need to land a hit on you or you need take take for that message to appear and in wereform you have increased stats and dodge rating hence they can hardly hit you even if you stood still without slaughtering them in the dozens.

@numidium3 That's because the guards need to be able to damage you for that message to come up. Since the guards never use better than steel weapons, even if you can find daedric weapons on their corpse, you are totally immune to their attacks and, therefore, imprisonment.
