@sneezabonk Yes, he did fly again after the crash and would likely still be flying, but as a hero, he has the chance to make things safer for the industry.

I really well remember: On that day i had(i'm a pilot)a flight to New york, we were at the attitude of 36000ft on the Europe sky, And then at around 6AM the ATC reported all about the incidents....... and we pilots on-board were really-really nervous that "what would had happened..... what would had caused for that ditch.... how many on-board survived......" etc-etc...

But atlast, everyone on-board survived!!

Be a pilot like him ....

He's the "hero of the hudson river"

Sully is not only a terrific pilot, but a truly great and honest person by all accounts. He likely retired to take full advantage of all the opportunities that his sudden fame has given him. I know this much: I'll fly anywhere, any time, in any aircraft he deems suitable, as long as he is the pilot.

I read his book, Highest Duty, adn Im 14. I hate books. I play Xbox or on the computer or outside, but this was one book I liked...more liked loved.
