Well, the game is okay, but I want to help you with the jumping, because I saw an error. Make sure that you can only jump when you are on the ground. Sorry if you already knew that. I just wanted to point that out. You should make some more.

Naw man, its why its trial and error; and as long as its still in the development phase you havent failed anything yet. Besides, making large game in flash is pretty tough. I use game maker 7 and its still a painstaking force just to get things to work right.

If you want to record Flash movies on video, you should use FlashAnts. I've used it for Sonic his world on youtube (Look for: sonic his world flash).

Ah yes, there are none. Unfortunately, Hypercam did not want to record sound this time, even though it did when I used it for my FFR video. So I was only able to add the music, and not the sound effects that are in the actual Flash, which is what I recorded.
