'At the 1992 MTV VMA Kurt had this encounter with Axl Rose After Nirvana played "Lithium", Kurt went below the stage, where Axl and Elton John's two pianos were mounted on a hydraulic lift awaiting their duet. Kurt spit up some stuff upon the keys of what he thought was Axl's piano, but it turns out it was Eltons's keys Kurt had spat upon.
