Nion's Blender Tutorial: Portal Effect pt. 2/3 Compositing and Masking

Wait a second.... For the portals render... I got my first world with the portal in the middle of it instead of just the portal in the black... What did I do wrong?

This tutorial makes no sense. I follow it step by step and get a bunch of black, a white ring, and more black.

after i connect the 2 paths to the AlphaOver node at 4:24, all it shows me is my glow object. i've been searching for the missing connection or whatever might be causing this, and can't find it. anysuggestions.

A misstake i´ve done with nodes is that the connection between the nodes acctualy have to be exxacley as he done. So e.x. world 1 MUST be connected to the middle of the mix node!
