There is a wonderful tribute video that was made by a friend of Cliff's, and shown at his memorial. It was just posted a few days ago and is titled Cliff Gullett-Racer.

while it was clearly a team goal, it being out there was largley my fault. Jack was particularly uncomfortable with the perception that the talk may appear too forward leaning. I created this video to put some perspective on that stated goal and the fact that it was never intended to deminish the efforts of others. I think most of those on the salt understood and they certainly came to understand as they watched those early records fall and the deference Cliff paid to those that had set them.

Would you be able to say that same comment to the face of those Cliff loved?Being Cliff's niece I can say that the family is incredibly proud of Cliff's acomplishments, both on and off the Salt Flats. The man broke records that had been set in the record books for over 50 years. We will forever miss him, but at least he was not afraid to follow his dreams and not only reach the goals he set, but surpass them by far.
