Yes, they do get together but at the beginning, he only pretends to fall in love with her because he has given her complete control of his company (too complicated to explain how) and he is scared she will not give it back. However, eventually he really falls in love with her but she has found out about his lies and leaves him. Eventually it all gets resolved and they get married.
