This album was part of my collection in 1974 as a high school student! Years later, I was privileged to see Alice Coltrane (Turiyasangitananda) in concert with son, Ravi! She seemed to think there would not be much interest in seeing her perform in later years - fortunately, she was in error! She transcended in 2006.

Went to my house in Rosarito MX...it faces the beach and green mountains are behind us....I was playing "Message from the nile" my favorite McCoy Tyner tune....It fit in with Mexico so perfectly-the land....I realized it was the peace and tranquility of the beach and mountains...And now I hear Alice again....so moving. As SPORTYPAT48 said...once my energy is returned back to the infinite...this is what I also hope to hear.

Thanks IWM, from someone who's treasured this amazing talent and vibe for years - first heard the tune years ago on Detroit 'underground' radio. Had the vinyl, sold it, had it on mp.3, lost it and now it's here. If it's any consolation to UMG, their sales just went up by 1!!!!! Thank you and UMG for being enlightened enough to share this with me and others of like musical persuasion. Peace.
