I wasted so much money on creams & oils and nothing worked because stretch marks are like scars- tissue is dead. The only way to get rid of them is to mechanically abrade them. This is expensive at dermatologist's office but you can do it cheaply at home using medical crystals. All my stretch marks are gone and I feel normal again. Just google search medicalcrystals.
I just made a Shea Butter Mix to use on my skin and hair. I used a good amount of Shea butter, 2 tea spoons of EVOO, 2 teaspoons of Avocado oil, one scoop of coconut oil, and a couple drops of Tea tree oil(preservative). Can I use this for twists or as a leave in, or do you think this will need to be washed out?
u can definitely use for twists & leave in. remember, this is an all natural, all purpose moisturizer. i use my whipped sb mix for twists also. when wet, i apply it to each section as i twist and let it air dry. leaves my hair unbelievable soft. when i do dry twists/twist-out, i simply apply it the same way, before & after i've blow dried my hair.
and yes olive oil and shea butter is supposed to make stretch markx vanish it is possible if you use for 6month str8 daily as u would lotion garrenteed!! im currently using and this is ah proven fact!!
Scars do fade, maybe not as quickly as most people would like but they do. I had really bad acne scars when i was younger that i no longer have =].
