  • what doublepedal do you use?

  • Do you have an acoustic kit too? Nothing wrong with the electric though

  • Its the DD 502 right?

Do you have to buy a new Bassdrumpad to get the Doublebass Sound?

I bought it a week ago but my prob ist that the Bass drumsound is triggered wrong.. when i play slow everything is fine but when i speed it up a bit i just get the sound of one beater..

  • id think so. from what ive read on heard you just have to set them as close to the middle of the pad as possible

  • MORE GHOST NOTES!!!

  • wow, I've just listen your myspace. SOUNDS AWESOME. So it's all electric. No acoustic, right? But I think you guys need a singer there.

    BTW, nice recording man.

  • is there a way to make one of the toms an extra crash?

  • Yeah, you just change the assignment on the drum brain

  • how much were they all 2gether?

  • Around €300

  • what sound setting is that? or midi setting

  • It's the Alesis Trigger iO with BFD 1.5

  • What Drumset and module u use???

    IT ROCKS LIKE U!!!

  • understandable, im kinda in the same boat myself

  • Does this DD502 make a loud noise when you hit the pads?

I'm worrying about the noise since I'm living in Japan and there are many houses around.

  • Watch my review video, I discuss that in it.

  • dude just checked out your band nice shit you need to get some vocals in there man

  • Thanks, it's hard to find a good vocalist around here.

  • not impressed sorry man, the electronic drums your using dont sound good at all, they dont have a live feel to them

  • True, but I don't have 200 euro to spend on getting BFD2 or Drumkit From Hell, and my current living situation doesn't cater for acoustic drums.

  • First of all, great drumming man. I'm planning on getting that drum kit and i wanted to know if the sound you get on this video is a drumkit preset or you play it through midi on a computer. Thanks

  • I get the sound in this video by plugging all the pads into the Alesis Trigger iO which then goes into my laptop and triggers sounds from BFD 1.5

  • I cant wait to have this drum kit!! sounds seems not bad at all for a beginner drummer like me. Did you used a programmed kit ? or, can you customize a kit yourself ?

  • Only with the Alesis Trigger iO and BFD

  • why are you using electronic drums for a band? they have their place with certain things but acoustic makes it sound more "human" you know.. but non the less nice drumming

  • I'd use acoustic drums if I could.

  • those poor hampsters!!

  • 2:00..i hear a little BLEED by MESHUGGAH

    :D

  • Heh, not even close :P

  • Lol. It sounds just like one part in that song, but with much simpler double kicks :D

Anyway..this was a good vid man. Great drumming :) I checked out your band's myspace and it sounds sick :D

  • @JuSTIn13666 More like Sane by Meshuggah.

  • do you recommend this kit for beginners?

  • Yes, it's perfect for beginners

  • thanks man i just purchased it on ebay so i cant wait!

  • Are the blankets behind the bass just to keep it from shaking too much?

  • Yeah, partially for sound proofing, but without them it also moves around way too much when playing fast.
