Epilepsy Video EEG by The Holden Foundation

I had a video EEG done in the hospital and it was the most boring 8 days in my life. I had all my seizures the night BEFORE I went in for the test. So that didn't help. After several days, I finally asked what kind of seizure they were looking for, I was horrified that they were looking for what we already knew I had. I almost screamed at them that they should have turned off my vegas nerve stimulator the first day!!! I'm wondering why they didn't know I have a VNS. That screwed up the test.

Lamotrigine worked well for my g/f, but left her with dry eyes leading to eye infections etc. Epilim worked very well but is dangerous to foetus's. Do you use Epistatus as a rescue med?

I know all about this I had this done 3 times over not very fun and yes very boring. I hope all went well and all the info was given.

One very nice thing about the Children's hospital here. The kids have very long cords and a pack they carry. This allows them the abiltity to walk around, play games and hang out in the center of the unit with other people. Its really a great way to do the EEG.
